Ok it's only a test I still have alot of work to do:
Done:
Get the game to load.
New Background.
Pending:
Turn the background into a slideshow.
New buttons.
New fonts.
Rename the menus.

To install: Navigate to

Open "menu_client.zip" and open "External"

Now open "FlashMenu"

Now copy from the file you downloaded "mainMenu" to the "Flashmenu" folder you opened.

After you done with that, you must copy the file "1024x768.jpg" to the "images" folder in that zip folder.
BUT YOU CANT PLAY THE GAME WITH IT CURRENTLY. BUT YOU CAN LOAD IT UP AND HAVE A LOOK.
AND MAKE BACKUPS AND IF YOU FORGET HERE IS MY "MENU_CLIENT" FILE!

Hi,
I'd like to see some sort of mockup of every screen in the UI. There's plenty more than just the start screen. A good sketchup for each screen etc is probably a good idea to have before you go and change it all.

Hey Alexander, can you post pictures of your menu, like you did before in the other thread? I don't think many people will take the risk of not being able to play FH2 just to take a look at menu pictures.

Don't want to post pictures yet because it still incomplete and I don't want people to look at my work and say well that rubbish because how it looks now will be different to how it will look then.

OK, but why would you want people to install it so they can take a look but not post pictures?
I'd rather wait to see some pictures before installing the new menu, so I hope they are finished soon :)

Just post up pictures. As long as you say it's all WIP, there's no problem.
Nobody will go through the 'trouble' of setting up your menu files only to see one tiny little change. Post up pictures and show the world what magic you're doing :).
And I don't think there's a need to make different threads. Just keep one thread where everything is discussed. And if you have new things to show, reply to this thread and post what you got. You might also want to post all your images (and possible download links) in the first post, so it's neat and tidy.

The background pic was made by FatJoe. Also, it is way too busy visually for a menu, especially if you want to display font right on it.

Just started work on a better one:
The gray area on the page is the background and you see as in my last pic the menus are in the top left part of the gray area.

My main bug with this menu is that the "Single-Player, Multi-Player, etc..." does not show up ingame. Any ideas?
Any dev reading this please can I be on the dev team as a UI artist.

I just hit a brickwall I need the mainMenu.fla file that was made for Forgotten Hope 2 Because I can only get so far with the battlefield's one.

While I like Joe's wallpapers, I dont think that specific one suits too well in this case. It doesnt make me think of a ww2 game, it makes me prepare myself for some hedge-trimming simulator.

FH2 mainMenu.fla doesn't exist, all changes in mainMenu.swf have been done by binary hacking.

Well... I'm back after how many days. Forget everything I posted earlier! Now I'm starting fresh with a whole new idea because my other pc WENT UP IN FLAMES I lost everything and I have not had the courage to come back but now I shall roar with a fresh idea (Lost me old work) and I need your input. So I shall this afternoon start with a basic setup of what I'm doing which I shall say at a later stage.
