I'm 25 btw. That's not too old. If you want to see "old farts" playing a game, you got to join flight simulator community, especially combat flight sims like Falcon 4.0 BMS, I've seen a lot of 50 and 60, or even 70 years old playing there. Some are even texture artists.

I had an 82 year old Battle of the Bulge vet play FH2. He doesnt play regularly, but he played 3 rounds when I was there. Said he really liked the detail but bastogne looked too clean!

Iirc we had a thread once where everyone voted their age. In the end the average was around 28.

 Most people don't vote, so you get a very skewed average. Tons of people don't even bother with the forums so the demographic is hard to actually fix down.

The average age of gamers is increasing anyway. PC gaming really started in the 90s. Most Teenagers/Kids from then are now in their twenties or thirties. I think the average FH2 gamer is older than the average - let´s say Modern Warfare - player anyway. The kiddies of today don´t want to play BF2-engine based games if there is something new (doesn´t mean it´s better). What´s left are the ones who prefer something that really has quality content rather than the newest graphics - and that´s mostly the more mature ones. And of course the ones who don´t have a good computer .

Lies, FH 2 needs a quite decent computer to run on full graphics... I'd say you probably need less capable machine to run MW3 or BF 3 (on low).

FH2 on low runs slower than MW2/3 on low, on some maps much slower.
Don't know much about technical stuff, but its probably due to me having a slow Dual-Core CPU, but still
FH2 runs slower for me.
