I just read in the paper that i will turn into 3 movies.
Yeah, I think it was confirmed that it's going to be split into 3 films with extra footage: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/19055342

As an (interesting) aside: I've just started reading The Fellowship of the Ring and one of the many forwards/prologues in the book says that the complete book is The Lord of the Rings and it was split into three parts (Fellowship, Two Towers and Return) for publication so it's not actually a trilogy at all...

Clearly the best part was the glowing rings joining together in the air.
Yeah - I thought the general factories and the forging and joining of the rings was great. The pre-industrial "green and pleasant land" bit was a bit on the cheesy side for me.

What I want to know, is what the hell the US team was thinking?  United States of Flight Attendants indeed.
Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that!

Also, did anyone else find the UK team's entrance a little, er, lacking? After all the other countries in the world had marched in with some sense of occasion and dignity, Team GB come in acting like it's a night out on the town. I don't think their Elvis suits really helped either...

Though it is getting all a bit samey imo. I got to the point with Revelations where I was just going through the story and not bothering with any of the side missions/object collecting just so I could complete it (and get on with Skyrim!)

Surely mid 22nd century technology is no match for dinosaurs?

I mean, in Jurassic Park you had unarmed kids, archaeologists and Jeff Goldblum, but fully armed mechanised soldiers having trouble with animals?
Damned you.... It's not an archeaologists but a paleontologists... :P
I was going to make that same correction! :p

It'll be interesting to see what the film comes out like. I read the book when I was at school and don't really remember it much though the author did make a visit to my school:

And then at the beginning of November this year I went to see the play in London - it was stunning and made all the more poignant as it was a few days before Remembrance Day. The story is pretty good but the way it is interpreted on stage with the horses and all is absolutely amazing. I recommend the play to anyone who's in London: http://warhorselondon.nationaltheatre.org.uk/

I don't think we've had a similar problem before. It's strange that it happens after 10-15mins of play. Do you know if it's caused by a certain object spawning or a flag being captured or something like that?

I just bought Il-2 CoD in a fit of curiosity/giving into nagging temptation. It's perfectly playable for me though the menus etc are so clunky and there seem to be so many options missing when compared to Il-2 1946. e.g. I try a simple Hurricane vs 109 dogfight quick mission - I can customise my Hurricane completely but can't touch the other plane (you could customise all the involved planes in 1946) then the 109 spawns with Italian markings... There are some glaring errors too - in the campaign the 1st mission briefing tells me I'm taking off to intercept some Stukas attacking a convoy, the game loads and I'm facing a flight of Dorniers that are bombing the end of my runway, I thought "great - some unexpected twists to the mission script", took off shot a couple down and then got debriefed saying congrats on killing those Stukas... The next mission was the mirror image - "emergency scramble to defend from attacking Dorniers", actually going to intercept some Stukas...

Mining my way to freedom from Cidhna Mine after being arrested by the corrupt Markarth Guard. Later cleared my bounty with the city by means of a bounty collector.
If only Minecraft looked like that...

... but I had to take this about 30 min ago! (It looked huge in the sky, photo don't do justice)
I was going to photograph the moon this evening too! But then there was too much horizon clutter so I didn't in the end :(

But getting the game is not the problem ... getting somebody motivated to play it with me is  :P
Maybe we should have an international FH forum meet-up just so we can all play Axis and Allies :p

The correct question at the end would have been: Who here hasn't played Axis and Allies yet? ^^
I haven't! :p

I'd love to but there are two problems: 1: copies are expensive and 2: I'm not sure my wife would be hugely keen on playing and I don't really know anyone else who lives near me who would. I already have Tide of Iron, Duel in the Dark and most of the WW1 Wings of War series and despite a few games of each I haven't really played any of them much due to a lack of willing/interested opponents. :(

The Holocaust set is very sobering. I think it had a particular impact for me as you don't usually see that many photos of things to do with the Holocaust or its effects on people all in one place. To see all those people all over the Reich really brought home to me the scale of the operation.
