This is my second stupidity:

I bet for Italy to get clean sheet, yet I also put Defoe there... forgot to change him with non-meeting team what a mindfuck in a single day.

no, that would be the result of playing better than the other team ;)

They play better, but they could play entertaining football also... They don't do that now.

This is exactly my point, SiCaRio.

This day is great for any football fan.

First of all, England v Italy.

Now, in Argentina the tournament is hot, last match and only one team was relegated and there is no champion.

7 matches at the same time, with one of the possible champions, Tigre, who can also be relegated EVEN if they get the title. 3 Matches that will decide whos the Champion, 4 matches that will decide who is relegated.

One of the "5 Biggest", San Lorenzo, is also in relegation zone. Today, Juan Sebastian Veron retires, yesterday, River Plate promoted to first division.

Exciting matches!

I both hate and love the idea of penalty shootouts.

A victory for football.

It was definitely a good thing for England to go out at this stage. It would have been embarrassing to see what the Germans would have done to them in the Semis.

Pirlo is such a class act; what a player, what a penalty!

Before the match I really wanted England to get through and have great classic against Germany. However Italy deserved to win and the final result is fair.

I still can't figure out why Milan sold Pirlo, he's a great player.

Worst played game of the tournament, both teams sucked. So dull to watch. If germany plays even half as well as they have been they will rip italy a new asshole. Such a shameful quarter

Wow, you can't have watched the Spain-France game.

Very exciting game! Sure, spain were in control and England were backing off. But the game had a LOT of chances. The game could really go either way, and I could hardly calm down at any time.
Compare that to Spain, were it's clear which team is going to win, Spain is in full control of the game but doesn't get to any chances.

Italy: 35 shots

Spain: 9 shots

Those statistics speaks for themselves
I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso
