Encountered him lots of times. The explanation is that his father, grand-father and great grandfather were all called M'aiq
Ah, because we all know M'aiq is a reliable source.

not sure what to think about the game
Installed it played it around 2-3 hours.
I finished the mission where you need to find this gold stuff in a hugh cave, and i killed the one dragon, and now im on my way to another place somewhere in the south.
Still it does not really catch me, like fallout 3/NV did. Where you get pretty much soken into the story right at the start.
Here I just know, well, almost nothing yet

Former Morrowind + Oblivion player...  :)

Had the game around 10 days now. Yesterday it was a 6pm-2am session, and that was just trying to finish misc. quests I'd picked up!
I'm getting to the stage now where I daren't talk to random characters for fear of getting sidetracked even further!  ;D
Back to the main quest for now, just arrived in Solitude to set up a meeting with some guild or something.

Moment of the game so far was a companion quest where I trapped myself behind some bars and was left watching my fellow companion being attacked by around 10 heavily armed bandits and thinking "lol you're f##ked mate.." before he turns into a faffing Werewolf and pwns 'em all!  8)

I get the feeling it could take a few years to do everything in this game, good value for money, pity about the random ctd's and odd faceless character.

Im actually taking my time to play the game.  Alot of RL work at the moment.

But im enjoying the felling of playing the game and spending my free time getting immersed in this world.

I believe this will be a long game to enjoy, just how i like it.   8)

ok it started cathing me.
The lack of a real storyline at the start made me play more.
But I think I fail pretty hard. Im Level 5 and im now on my way to a land in the northwest, and Im now entering the labyrinth. But there is a snowtroll and I cant beat him.

Im playing dark elve? any good?

I was like 25lvl when I entered labyrinth. There's going to be something much harder than pity snowtroll.

Get out of there, Stalker! Too dangerous.

Dark Elf; either go spellsword or sneak. I did the latter, sneak everywhere and pop a few arrows in them from a distance, in the end they will drop. Or sneak up on them and stab 'em in the back!

I entered the one maze to get the next shout word, and then I headed on to the land of north to get into this hugh cave to take the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller, but [... spoiler ... ] it was not there and so Im back at Rivenwood.
Im level 6 now  ^^

Funny moments: Giant fighting with a dragoon, I sneaked away from there.

But there is soo much to discover, its unbelievable :D

Welcome to Skyrim. That's just it, play a bit over three hours and you're lost. It's truly a huge game, possibly the largest RPG ever. I played Morrowind a bit, but a lot of Oblivion, level 35 in Skyrim now and I still haven't touched much of the main storyline or the civil war.

Now, I am growing to be a powerful wizard who is also a vampire. I also did some jobs for a Daedra Lord or two. There will be NO Christmas for Markath! I'm good with all counties, but Markath just went plain wrong. I had to flee with my tail between my legs, but now I will go back. Beware Markath, a storm is coming, and it's carrying a Daedric Mace too. Fornsworn and their collaborators, run!

I love how NPCs react to that cursed mace. ^^
My most important little weapon is the Sanguine Rose. Damn those daemons can deal out damage.

I was hoping to resist skyrim until i have new pc, but can't. I'm going to try it with my 3.00 Ghz Pentium 4, GeForce 7600GS and 1 GB RAM. Performance mod will hopefully help to run it at least on low. What do you think about it?
