a stupid question but, are these weapons effective enough to kill birds? We got urself a magpie plague here  >:( Stupid rats on wings

Not with a 300fps one. Maybe with a 500fps one. Either way you're more likely to just wound it than kill it.

get a bloody BB gun. I suggest a Beeman RS 1000 .177 calibre with the 4X32 scope.  Magpie Sniping, anyone?
It goes at 1400 FPS! as fast as a Magnum 500!

You can move a few parts on this model right? It looks a bit like my lil brothers M14.

Yeah you can move most parts, Its only for paint tests, (its full metal accept the stock.)
I also have a KWA Glock 17 witch I love.

I'm not a die hard air softer as people here, cose I can play with the real deal also. hehe

i would say die hard when u spend thousands of euro's on it :s

I got my clothing for 100€  and a used (Was used only once before)Classic army M15A4 (Basicly a M4)  for 110€

its all bout the fun

anyway, the skrim was very very fun. Lots of diffrent missions.

and this thing called speedball=aka shoot at eachother, dont respawn, he who can take most pains win

That was on the last half hour of the day. Tbh that wassent fun anymore. Many guys where Rambo'ing and breaking rules. One ass tried to spray us (We where lieing in a pit, pinned down) 2 Meters away from us.

However, the guy was out of ammo, lol, so with 5 VERY ANGRY AND RAGED PERSONS we opened fire on him.

If he doesnt wanna follow the safety rules.....bastard

Cheap and painful airsoft sniper!

The crosman R34 spring m16.

I opened it up lubed up the cylinder stretched the spring and it shoots 350 fps! :o

It has a overall pretty strait trajectory. I was able to hit a human size target at 153 ft away with .12 gram BBs and 167ft away with .20 gram BBs

thats nice  ;D

i tend to keep it cheap also. I payed 80 euros in total for my clothing and equipment, and 110€ for my airsoft rifle.190€  thats enough.

When you see those guys, with 6 airsoft rifles, with all those accesories, with those better batteries

Sure thats nice. But a bit over imo.

I remeber this guy. He had with him 2 gillie suits. One was very nice and costed him 45€. And the other one 110. He now used both suits twice each, and he wants to buy himself a new one, costing 250€! For god sake, why is this needed? Surefly he shot me twice, but when i was 2Meters away from him, i could still see him.

Well i did a couple of airsoft skrims. And i really have to say this is a great hobby.

Its not the weapons and stuff, but the challange in terms of condition and stuff. It was first very exaushting but now it gets better and better. The running and jumping etc really kicks up adrenaline.
And ofcourse the guys who play it. Everyone talks to everyone. Lots of social talks. Many diffrent kind of people (From lawyers to Truckers to military men)  (One guy for instance, needed to go to afghanistan, and he and 2 other guys did alot of sport etc, with every sunday some airsoft for average workout)

And last skrim, i saw 3 German Falschirmjaeger reanactors. Those guys their camo clothing and weapons. God, vonMudra would have gone wild when he saw it. 2 Carried mausers and one a FG42(Wich was accurate to the wood and markings on the gun)

However when they said the price they had to pay for the entire package, i fell over (5000€ For the guy with the FG42!!)

I believe some of you guys also do this hobby, and can someone give me a good site? I saw many good polish sites, but i'm looking for one wich you had experience with, and one as close to Belgium as possible :)

I also encounterd some weirdo's. One guy like this   http://lh4.ggpht.com/mikequell/R6vGDtrCKWI/AAAAAAAAAn4/tvH40MGc6L4/s800/soldierinternet.jpg

He kept complaining that he got shot, but if he took cover behind a regular standard tree, they could still shoot him

And this girl in a ghilliesuit. We where both pinned down by a sniper, and i distracted the sniper while she shot him(Like in a movie lol)   But then she was like= YE TAKE THAT ***** THATS RIGHT ***** Thats what you get when you stand in front of my lee enfield!! (And she started to hug the dam rifle)

Cute but freaking scary  :P

I wish airsoft was more popular here in Canada. Retailers that sell airsoft guns need full blown firearm retailing licenses, so the price of them here is about double. Same for shipping them in from importers.

I paintball alot with milsim weapons, and it's great fun, but it feels like a really crude and "unrefined" type of recreational wargame.
It's dirty and grungy (especially in indoor fields), and the weapons are really... utilitarian (no matter how tweaked out they are). What I mean is that the most effective way to use any paintball gun is as a straight up assualt weapon. Always flank, always maneuver, burn in close and light em up. They arn't accurate enough to reliably get the drop on someone from long range. You can never "surprise" someone from a distance, because 90% of the time, the first shot will miss.
And then there's the players. Paintball is a much more mainstream hobby, and there's always a low ratio of enthusiasts to casual or first time renters. Ripping up a gaggle of terrified asian girls and then having to apologize profusely afterward gets old pretty fast. I'd much rather test my mettle against fellow fighters, challenging each other with tactics and maneuvers.

If airsoft is a sniper rifle, paintball is a battleaxe. Don't get me wrong, its a blast to hack stuff up like a barbarian, but sometimes you want that satisfaction of a well planned and executed strategy against other people who appreciate it.

And its also less costy

Its ALIVE! *Bump

.... sometimes you want that satisfaction of a well planned and executed strategy against other people who appreciate it.

Seldom I get a chance to paintball, but I find it more preferable than airsoft.
Sure its crude and 'unrefined', but you need the right fellows and the right area.
Thankfully there is a nice spot which is heavily wooded (You can get lost), has a nice open area with tall (waits height) grass, wide muddy roads, and lots of couches and other sturdy junk to make fortifications.
As for 'who', a couple of friends are in the military (Crack shooters...) and the rest have actual experience with guns.

Indoor is crap really.(No offense)
But its no fun with our getting dirty.

Any one else paintball by any chance?

It has an upgraded m120 spring which brings its power up but im a bit disappointed because they sent me a faulty model. I took one shot and the gearbox locked up  >:( So we're going to exchange it for a new one
