VN just about complete for the work I do with it.

Might switch out the gearbox for another I have, if it is quieter.

Also plan on packing the insides with foam for even more quietness.



Update on the AKS-74 parts:
Painted the compensator today, will add a picture when it dries. IMHO it came out well.

Suppressor will take a little time, as I need to finish making it quiet with the magic of foam, etc.

Hello!

Since some time i wonder if i should buy a Pickelhaube (that prussian helmet) and wear it as a part of my airsoft clothing (a really strange combination of flecktarn-camo and a k98 ). But i ask myself if i would upset someone if i would wear it in the game (especially in Belgium). What do you think? Will the Pickelhaube be a problem? (yes i know the drawbacks of wearing a shiny thing on my helmet which says "HERE IS YOUR Target!!!" but i think it would be funny and i could maybe use the helmet in school for some history lessons).

Anyways, I tried some .36s in my SVD.
Good lord.
holy shit.

I was going far with .3s but .36s turned the damn thing into a long range nail driver. I've never seen something shoot so well, its completely insane.



On another note, I might pick up another scope mount for my SVD, since my original broke. I've been thinking of ordering a scope from Kalinka Optics though.

I still need an East-german AK however.  I have several plans

waiting for my SRC MP40 with a totall of 6 mags to arrive any day now! 
it comes with electric blowback, im not a real fan of it... but itll do, maybe its possible to remove the mechanism without ruining it.

allso baught snacks like, mp40 pouches (green) and canvas carry case!

Yes, blowback is usually easy to disable.


On another note, planning on going to a three day day/night operation next month with around 50 people.

Will be placed on a sniper team with a friend of mine, he'll be rocking an M700, and I'll have my Dragunov. Working on Ghillie suits this week.
