I know we've got a Stug III in game and now the Stug IV but what I'd like to see is one of the more (in my eyes) iconic stug IIIs.

Like the Stug III G with the boxy mantlet rather than the cast mantlet. I know it sounds abit moany and unneeded but they were the meanest looking Stugs and at the moment the two we have; the G with cast mantlet and Stug IV are the two most similar looking Stugs.





I'd love to see the box mantlet version in a later patch, I'm sure it will come with the Eastern front, but I'd like to see it in Normandy at some point as well.

Badass tank destroyers.

The current stugs where rare with their coaxial MGS and remote control weapons.

We want the Ausf G! A true tank destroyer not a tank with just no turret

Unfortunetly, only 2 served in Africa, and at different times.  They might have been used in Greece, not sure.  Otherwise, they had all been upgraded or destroyed by the time of Normandy :P


Anyways, yes, we would all like to see the iconic StugIIIG, but we'll have to wait and see what the devs do next :P

As long as it's SdKfz 142/1 I don't think there is a reason why you couldn't use either III or 40 as you like.

indeed, the StuG III B did serve in greece, with the 191st StuG Abt.
