I played for quite a while this past weekend and really enjoyed the new maps.  Sure they need some polishing but I was reminded of how much I miss maps from FH1 like these.  I thought the planes were well done, dog fighting is not such a joke, and the Mustang is finally awesome.  When you shoot the 50s something actually happens.  The Swordfish seems too fast.  As for the ships I did not like the 1st person ship view.  It looks like a bofors sight in close up view and you cannot see anything.  Maybe two different modes?  I did not get to try the sub as I am a plane whore.  Keep up the good work.  I will play next time for sure.    

I show two Wolf FH2 servers.  Are you guys on the new one already?  I love Wolf but until this gets worked out we should be playing on WAW.  For months we have been playing with server issues.  There is no telling how many new players this has drove away.  This past Friday with a good WAW server, it maxed out on players and we played all night.  I can't remember the last time this happened on a NA server.  I will stop by your forum.  I do not mean to be negative but this is the truth.     

Thanks for the update guys.  Looks great and can't wait as always.  One thing that I have not seen mentioned is that when you vote at the MODDB you have to register for your vote to count.  If you only vote as a guest then your vote will only count in the event of a tie.  You have to register for FH2 to get credit.

I saw this earlier today.  Looks like an enhanced version of BF2 but has fewer players.  "The engine has been revised and pepped with some modern effects."  I wonder if FH2 can benefit in any way from this?

I have an i7, x58, gtx 285 setup.  I would say that it runs FH2 at 100fps 95% of the time.  HD resolution, 16x AF, 32x AA, all settings on high.  The only problem that I have noticed is the sunset on Port-en-Bessin flickers really bad even if there is a building in the way. 

In my experience with Nvidia cards you should not use the 200 series drivers unless you have a 400 series card.

A really nice update.  I am very much looking forward to playing.  Thanks for all the hard work. 

As for the people complaining,  I think I will put them on my ignore list.  Now I never have to read another post from them.  What a bunch of losers.   

Those pics are very impressive.  I can't wait to see them in game.  I just hope those .50 cals don't suck like they do on the American aircraft.   

I have never successfully strafed infantry with the American .50s.  I can take out the flak and light vehicles with them ok i guess.  I have gone after entire squads with the .50s, bullets hitting all around them.  The only time I got one was when I accidently crashed into him.  Every once in a while I get a hit indicator but no kill.  Then one of them fires an mg42 at me as I go by at full speed and almost takes me out.  The bombs and rockets work ok but the .50s are messed up.  Right now a single mg42 is more powerful than six or even eight .50 cals.
