  • Replaced German player models with camo versions.
  • Replaced the limited G43 rifleman kit with an unlimited K98k one. The G43 was moved to the scout kit instead.
  • Fixed the British Willys spawning for Americans (as reported by McCloskey).
  • Fixed a sniper kit spawning on the road at the church, moved it to the church tower instead.
  • Fixed the US mortar spawned for Germans in the Unterdorf - Church trenches.
  • Fixed few places where players could get stuck, mostly around the church.
  • Many other gameplay and cosmetic fixes, including black wagons, floating static Pak 40 and ammo boxes, better lighting for overgrowth, and so on.
  • New loading music - Lale Andersen - Es geht alles vorüber.

Guys, I know, the forum sucks in showing the latest post in our Feedback sub-board, but all individual map changelogs have been published by now (with the only exception ATM being the Bulge and Germany maps. I'll add their changelogs slightly later). They may entertain you while you're updating to 2.5 :)

Take a special look at the changes on Brest, Alam Halfa and Op. Hyacinth, a lot of significant improvements there.

  • One of the Tigers now spawns the whole round, again.
  • Closed some "secret" sneaky routes behind ruins and fences, mostly in the first half of the map.
  • The mobile Flak now spawns when the German team captures Ruins (instead of spawning with a 3 minutes delay from the start, no matter if the Germans control Ruins or not).
  • Minor cosmetic fixes.

  • The last flag (Church) now unlocks after a delay of 60 seconds to give defenders time to fall back and clear out "early birds".
  • Fixed some crates and boxes at the beach stop being rendered by the engine at a too short range, "uncovering" players behind them to the other team.
  • Blocked the space under all bunk beds (no more hiding under them).
  • Fixed missing "LIMITED" text in the German grenadier kit.
  • Unique equipment: the LCVP boats lost the ability to travel overland and one of the two .30 cal MGs.
  • Unique equipment: the Mk12 5in Naval Gun (the destroyer) got a sound upgrade thanks to Hybrid V (an applicant). Also fixed the switch-to-ammo delay being shorter than the reload time which could be exploited to fire the guns faster than intended.

  • New "Adaptive" push mode. How this works: both teams can attack any flag in direct vicinity of a flag owned by them. For example, if the Americans capture NavyHQ, this will open Flakposition for their attack. If then they take Flakposition, this will open Ruins and Boulangerie, and so forth. The same goes for the German team too. Another small feature: if an Allied flag becomes surrounded by enemy flags, the "cut off from supply" mode will be turned on for this flag, with no soldier spawning available on the flag (this works only for the attacking US team on this map).
  • The Panzer IV now starts spawning slightly earlier - when NavyHQ OR Plaza is controlled by the Allies, but still with a 240 sec delay.
  • The Panzer IV now stops spawning when the Allies capture Ruins.
  • The German limited assault G43 kit was replaced with an unlimited K98 one. The G43 was moved to the scout kit instead.
  • Added a mortar pickup kit for the Americans at their base.
  • "Atmospheric candy": added a CBS news broadcast at the Allied main.
  • Replaced all static Bedfords with GMCs (modelled by Roughbeak), including the wrecked one.
  • Minor cosmetic fixes here and there.

Guys, consider Brest as an open beta test for the new Adaptive push. If it succeeds here, we will spread it to some other maps.
