Forgotten Honor Proudly Presents

Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon is a Minimod for Forgotten Hope. But since 2007, when the development began, it has grown to be one of the biggest mods of all time! What makes this mod special is that it adds lots of - but not only - Secret Weapons which saw limited or no action at all, before, during and after the Second World War, like jet fighters and super heavy tanks. Some of the maps feature "what-if" battles like a landing operation on the Japanese mainland or attacking a secret German base in the African desert.

In 2014, Blood and Iron is the first FHSW Forgotten Honor Campaign! The fight took place at the eastern front between the Red Army and Nazi Germany.

Forgotten Honor invites you to join us for the first time for the campaign that could start an new era.

    Battle of Britain
    A Forgotten Honor Event

"Minutes went by. Green fields and roads were now beneath us. I scanned the sky and the horizon for the first glimpse of the Germans.
A new vector came through on the R.T. [radio telephone] and we swung round with the sun behind us.
Swift on the heels of this I heard Yellow flight leader call through the earphones.
I looked quickly toward Yellow's position, and there they were!
The sky seemed full of them, packed in layers thousands of feet deep.
They came on steadily, wavering up and down along the horizon.
    'Oh, golly,' I thought, 'golly, golly . . .'

    Features
    • The possibility of up to 48 planes fighting in the skies over the English Channel!
    • Exciting gameplay on a large 4 Km map!
    • Spitfires and Hurricanes vs. Stukas and BF109E's and F's!
    • Introducing radar (UAV) stations, for the British who man those bofors!
    • Introducing radar (UAV) for those that occupy the second seat of the beaufighter!
    • Non-pilots can by lending a hand at manning the bofors along the coast or flying second seat in the stukas and beaufighters!

    « on: 20-03-2012, 12:03:59 »
    Argentan
    F|H Custom map

The town of Argentan is an unassuming little town on the Orne River. However, like most unassuming French towns it was thrust into the limelight in the bitter months of 1944. Heavily bombed by allied planes during the intial D-Day landings, the towns fame came during the push by the American 3rd army to cut of the Germans in the Falaise Pocket from the south. While the Candian/British forces attacked from the north in Operation Totalise and Tractable, and the Poles fought to hold Hill 262, the first American units began their push into Argentan.

The American 80th Division led the attack and soon ran into serious German opposition. German machine guns and 88mm guns were used to good effect but were unable to halt the American advance. Many American tanks were lost during the fighting, including four out of five tanks in a single squadron, knocked out by a single 88mm gun as they tried to advance through a gate in a column formation. The last tank survived by chance as it got stuck and so didn't expose itself to the Germans.

By the 20th of August the town was liberated and the American forces would soon link up with their British counterparts. Around them they saw the abandoned vehicles and wreckage of the retreating and soon to be annihilated German 7th army.

Play this fantastic battle with full Organization and Teamwork!

THE BATTLE WILL START TODAY AT 19hGMT
