Forgotten Hope has finally opened a channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/ForgottenHopeMod) for itself in Youtube! Beta tester Zrix made the initiative and fired this channel up so kudos to him!
ForgottenHopeMod channel aims to become the library of Forgotten Hope, providing videos from both mods. We've uploaded almost every official video so far but we are still looking to add more relics into the collection, so if you subscribe, dont be alarmed that theres some raw material or something relative to that being uploaded. In the end we will post official trailers and teasers, instruction videos and everything alike under one channel so you dont have to go hunting them from different uploaders.
Also, we hope (dont we? ;)) that our testers and devs become more film-making friendly and that such great talents like Kubador and Zrix would make videos for our channel in the future too, not just when theres a dire need for a trailer. ;)
Not only do we offer our community a good source of FH videos of different kinds, we also favorite all sorts of *great* FH and FH2 videos from our players aswell. So keep on making videos guys!

Not my video but a good thing to look at. 8) I'm sure a lot of you know that Bluedrake42 does a lot of PR vids that are very popular and now does some other games. Just recently he posted a few FH2 vids and even live-streamed the new maps Gold and Omaha:

Just posting it here because I know his channel has a lot of subs, so his last 3 FH2 vids got a ton of views which is great for the community :D I'm really glad he took the time to show off some FH2 gameplay in its rawest form. He's not reviewing it, just a teamwork oriented guy playing FH2.
The good thing is, a lot of the ppl in the comments seemed really interested in the mod. however, there are plenty of ignorant comments floating in some of the vids from from ppl who don't know FH2 from a hole in the wall ::)
I'd like to enlighten these ppl as to what FH2 really is, especially since these videos are getting a lot of views, so feel free to comment and spread the right word about this awesome mod. And i'm sure Blue doesn't mind more video views :P

Since this is my first post on the forums, some of you know me, some of you don't. but lately there's been a big rise of views on some of my exploits on my FH2 videos. videos such as Crete, Omaha, Siege of Tobruk, and Keren. but let me tell you guys something, i'm not the best FH2 player in the world i never claim to be, but i'm becoming bit popular around here. i'm not a special player, i'm just a humble guy who uploads those videos mostly for the love of the game rather than anything else.

I recorded a round today to see if my computer could handle it and how it works. Might be good to know for promotional videos in the future. It's just a normal public round on PHL, no commentary or anything. Also note that I am not necessarily a very good player ;D

Yeah, we need more of that. I might record the occasional round I play on public now, it doesn't affect my performance noticeably, so why not.

Re : performance affect while recording
record via a temp folder ex. shadowplay
If cpu or hdd is somehow bottlenecking system while recording. Try make a 1.5 GB ramdisk and select it as tempfolder.
This will remove some stress from hdd at least :-)

Also look at cpu utilization : fh2.exe + recording process
If your cpu has many cores + threads. Try change Cpu Affinity and seperate fh2.exe and nvidia background processes
nvidia files : Cpu Affinity CPU 0 & 1 ticked
fh2.exe : Cpu Affinity CPU 2,3,4... ticked

Cpt. Mike is also well known for playing in the lowest graphic settings just to get an edge over anyone else (no undergrowth, IIRC). That, and insulting other players that he thinks have a lower skill than himself... and in german, because he apparently doesn't have the guts to do so in plain english so eveyrone can understand him.

It's the bot doing the shooting, he's only "driving" that gun in the video. Anyways, what I've just seen in that video is exactly the reason why I don't play singleplayer/coop.
