Its simple, one man drives the kubel/jeep, another (or three) ride shotgun with at kits.
Simply drive by unsuspecting tanks leaving a present on the way by. ;D
I know, its terribly unrealistic but it can make the dreadfully long sidi rezeig pass faster.

Yeah, I saw a screenie of that back in FF, it was rather amusing seeing the guy hold the sticky grenade out the side while you passed withing inches of a Panzer 3.

Btw.. can you fire a Boys AT while you are in a car or hanomag?

This was an infamous tactic in FH1, known as "Kubel-Fausting".
Have to be a little more careful doing this in FH2 because you are much more likely to run yourself over when getting out of jeep.

No, you can fire from inside the vehicle(unless they remove that for recoilless weapons, which would be realistic.

Btw.. can you fire a Boys AT while you are in a car or hanomag?
I know you can fire them while riding tanks, you just can't zoom. And this tactic works way better w/ Panzerschreck, Piats, and Bazookas :D

Yeah, my favourite job on Mersa Matruh:
Get in the jeep as a passenger, pull out a sticky AT Grenade and keep the right mouse button pressed until your driver gets near an enemy tank ;D

I did this two nights ago on gazala :P Was in the side with clan mate drivin', drove up behind a Grant on the move and managed to through the stick ladung infront of it and it drove over, caught on fire, tried to turn around and I tossed the last one at it while we swirved out of the way of it and kaboom :D was awesome and uninjured

Desert Rat and I tried this a while ago, but it was on infantry, he tried to run one of them down, so I whipped out a nade and threw it back at the squad of Brits, how it happened I don't know, but the nade stayed hoverring in my lap inside the kubelwagon, I just had enough time to type "oh noes" before the three of us in the wagon were tk'd, to rub salt in the wound the brits cam along and took the smoking wagon whilst I was powerless to stop them in death cam.

that don't work mostly unless the tanker is engaged in a tank fight... because somehow this only works in open maps but... it's more or less suicide to drive a kubel in open maps. (especially in FH1 where tanks "loaded" shells which could explode ...) In FH2 kubels are harder to hit with tank cannons (you could still MG them) since you don't want to have HE loaded when out in an open ground...

Hm. Mersa Matruh is the best map for this but it got the Stukas you love so much.

What? Hell no Gazala or El Al....Wide open area is your friend. Tanks just sit way out there and don't give two shits when you blow by them. Then you circle about and leave them a gift...

I remember despratley trying to take out an At jeep squad on mersa matruh with me stuka. Was that you captain C?

Yes it was probably me and my gang of crazyhorses...you rotten swine! ;D
I think it was the same round we tried to steal the Kubel from the landing strip and a Stuka pilot who was hunting us (and a damn nuisance!) that round got wise, turned around and blitzed the whole squad mangling the Willys and Kubel in the process, carnage, doh! :o

Gazala is definitely the best map for this tactic. My friend and I used to do this with the willys all the time. :) You gotta be careful not to accidentally tap the right mouse button, or the nade could stick to your hood! O.o

After reading this post,I couldn´t control myself and went into Side Rezegh,4 players...
I was german,and there was a Stuart that was killing us at any moment.
I told my team mate to ride the kubel around and near the tank,without stopping!
After some deaths and tries I managed to leave him a nice green,boxed present with a nice 3 painted on.
