I just upgraded myself to deluxe edition and tried to play a few rounds. It's difficult because I usually use my own control setup, and in the beta you are stuck with the stock setup. Is there any thread or something in their forums that has all the controls? I would search it myself, but I don't have an acoount there (I use hotmail)

I could change my keys (Arrowkeys+Numpad) just fine? What special setup are you trying to chose?

Really?
I have to check it again then, for me the whole setup screen was blank...

ADDED: Well, maybe its just for me, but I cannot change the controls, nor can I see what the defaul controls are. The same goes for all other settings as well, exept for the video settings.

The awesome chaps at Valve have taken a break from their holiday weekend to get this update rolled out for us. So expect to see the update go live in the next 30 minutes.

Proped myself in one of the high rise outbuildings on grain elevator with a nagant. Ran out of ammo and killed 2 guys with my pistol before dying. final toll: 47 kills.

I don't get it?

They made the maps (windows, doorways) and props in game too big in relation to the player avatars... To the point that it looks ridiculous when spectating or looking at screenshots. The characters look like 10 yr olds... it isn't as noticeable in 1st person while playing though.

LOL, some people are really nitpicking now (I never noticed it while playing the last 8h), kind of like the guys complaining about the shadow generation of the UT3 Engine. ^^
I guess that's a good sign since the game-play (at least for me) is near perfect. ^^

Well it's isn't much of a big deal but it's kind of an immersion breaker... You know feeling like you're fighting in a world made by giants... But I'll hold my critics on it for now, as I haven't played it yet.

Ah well, I guess scaling the Playermodels won't be that huge of a problem. ^^

Yeah it wouldn't but it will screw up the cover system totally... Also someone noted that the characters are correct size but the map objects aren't... So it will probably stay like this...

EDIT: Apparently new batch of maps is better made, and the problem is much less noticeable there... Still that's gonna take a while to fix.
