You can go in can click 'repair', this will first re-check that you have all the latest files, and after that start seeding.

Ah nice!  I guess that option could be made a little more obvious.

Is it just me or do people who jump into the seat of cars, but not enter with "E" become HUGE. Is it something with the FOV when driving?

(I'm so sorry with the first sentence. I swear my English is getting worse.)

That happens because the foreign object, in this case the other player is technically outside your vehicle. He looks just like he's inside, but the cockpit gets drawn in front of him. Same happens for example when you point your rifle at a wall. It might stick through it from 3p perspective, but in 1p it doesn't go through the wall.
Drawing the 1p can be turned off, but then you lose the much more detailed 1p geometries of that weapon/vehicle etc.
I do bad things to the BF2 engine.

I wish to inquire about the extent of armour damage modelling in FH2, if applicable. Thanks!

Stubby? ;D

what do you mean exactly?

afaik tank damage works with 'values' of armor thickness given to the mesh. (front plates having a higher armor 'value' than side plates etc..) So when you hit a certain part of the mesh with a certain projectile; the game calculates how much damage it does in terms of hit points (tank health you see on the bottom right of the screen when you're in a tank). i.e. when a 75mm projectile hits a plate with a 120mm armor 'value' it will do zero damage. On top of this, the coding gurus of this great mod put in a 'anglemod' system. Meaning that if the projectile strikes the plate at a certain angle it will calculate how much less damage is done based on that (i.e. more oblique angles do less damage that hitting something straight on)

It's not the best, and it's hardly a foolproof system: see huge bug fix update (http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=19359.0) but it's a damn fine system for what this engine allows you to do.

Someone else who tanks more can probably explain this better than I. :) but I think that's the gist of it

Matthew_Baker - the angle mod is great but a bit too balanced. For example: Tiger I's 88 should go through Cromwell's armor at any (combat) distance/angle, but in the game a hit like this...

...inflicts only 20-30% damage to the Cromwell. Similar hit from a Panther's 75 causes 50% damage, from the range of 100 meters.

Thanks for the answer. Yes I reckon a critical hitpoint system as implemented in armour sims would be awesome.. Perhaps for FH3, along with destructible buildings :D

Why on some vehicles like Stuart, M3A1 Scout car or LCVP there is an old .30 cal from FH1 while you have much better looking model of M1919A4 in game?

WAW servers are not showing up in the FH2 server list.  Yes I have turned off PB from the filter list.  Has not shown up since something happened last week.  Thanks.....
