I just want to make it clear that we will include Beach landings maps, of course. What kind of a WWII mod/game would we be featuring Normandy and not including the Beach Landings?

There are maps that are in the works, they aren't ready, they won't be in the 2.3 update, this isn't the last Normandy update we'll do and that's all I can say on that matter. - I see Toddel beat me to it

With that, I do hope you'll enjoy these new maps. Those that I've played are an amazing fun to play and I'm looking forward on playing it with you guys in public

seeing Fg42, is there a chance that we will finally see new player para models in 2.3 ? like 101/82 or Falshrimmjaegers?  are they at least in the works or you totaly  quit doing them.?

 TBH there is no chance in hell that an enthusiast's website would be considered more factual than citations for the Victoria Cross as well as photo-documentation provided courtesy of the National Archives of Canada.

 Like I said man, read some war diaries, they are a hell of a lot more informative than some copy and paste which states that Canada just emulated the British TOE (which flies in the face our conduct in WW2).

 If you guys give the Krauts all the good shit they never had in great numbers, why don't the allies get the materiel that they used on a daily basis?


   

Thing is that on those VC citations or photo series there is no way to tell how these individual soldiers got their Thompson. So far I have found not a single source stating there was a regular issue of smgs to PIAT crews except yourself. Also the website states that Canada did not emulate the British TOE but used a variation of it (and I fail to see why that would be dishonourable for Canada).

Because its an evil map that causes paranoia. All the time you are checking your back and see someone move through the rubble and when you try to chase them, they are long gone. Ghosts I tell ye, friggin' ghosts!

You hear strange noises and footsteps all around you, see people rushing trough the streets, crawling around between the rubble .. Im with Flippy .. I only move around that map reaaaally carefully and slowly :p

Last I heard they werent high on the priority list but with another new map that should feature fallschirmjagers (Brest) I cant see them not making paras at some point.
