As an Ohioan I think soon-to-be Governor John Kasich should build a giant Tower of Babel to relieve our joblessness.

Oddball, as conservative as you are, do you think Democrat's style of massive spending from government projects in order to re-employ the masses like FDR did in the past could really work?

It was proven to have lifted the US from 1929 crisis, but led them into another misery: debts. But it can't be helped, you all can't just wait.

If they initiate projects as such, and perhaps hire out privately owned contracting cooperations and enterprises, it would be similar to a bailout, without just handing the money away. Although, i'm not sure, because that would still cause increase in taxes and wouldn't really help to increase the defecit.

They had a similar idea theme park in Florida at some point that went completely bankrupt because the visitor attendance was so low and the cost to build it was so high.... so this seems headed down that route, who the fuck would go to a replica of something that was never real in the first place?

When you go far enough into the Finnish countryside (or just the "concrete jungle" suburbs), and enter a local watering hole (calling one "pub" would be too flattering and "bar" sounds too urban), the inhabitants do resemble manbearpigs so much that they must have evolved from them. Also, they will behave towards you like manbearpigs do, especially if you dare to speak in foreign languages (especially Swedish or Russian), or if you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, or happen to look at them badly, or try to keep your place in the queue, or rather, they will act manbearpig-ish in almost any given situation no matter what you do.
