Ahhhhh Gunsight Shader - Aka #Problem 2

So I have trolled the forums, I have read the solution and insofar I haven't accomplished anything. I have removed the caches multiple times, I have downloaded the new shader files... I have removed the .backup multiple times...

And still my gunsight is still black/white/wobbly... It is only for small arms by the way, tanks and such work fine.

Any more suggestions?

p.s 'Failed to move 'Battlefield 2/mods/bf2' to 'Battlefield 2/mods.bf.tmp' Cannot create a file when that file already exists.' This pops up whenever I run fh2.exe, will this be causing any issues?

I too have this problem, but I'm more  lazy than unable.  I did try though, and now I just can't play at all anymore.

Currently running around Crete with my knife trying to knife people(and winning! Germans can't fly)... I use tanks/mg positions when possible.

Delete shader cache. Delete your mods.bf.tmp file. Change your resolution so that the shaders are optimized again for best performance.

basically all you have to do is:
- delete your old shaders (my documents/battlefield 2/mods/everything in there)
- delete the shader_client.zip/backup files in battlefield2/mods/bf2  and /fh2
- delete any .tmp files

then DOWNLAOD the original BF2 shader_client.zip and the FH2 version of that file and palce them in the bf2/mods/bf2 /fh2 folders

that should fix it.

if not you might wanna post some more system info !
are you using VISTA / 7 ?
then run in admin mode with windowx XP compability

or

-uninstall FH2
- remove any backup shader_cleint.zip files
- replace the current battlefield2/mods/bf2 shader_client.zip with the original downlaod version of the BF2 file (link above)
- the reinstall FH 2.2
- install upcomming patch 2.25

it still does not work...

Am I missing something here? And yes I am running windows 7, running both fh2.exe and bf2.exe in comparability mode and in administrator...

That's it, I give up, I cannot solve this shader problem.  I have deleted many caches and backup files, redownloaded and cut and pasted shader files time and time again, and gone throught the whole process of reinstalling.  Nothing will work.

Edit: Hey, should I have a file under mods called "xpack"?

Edit Edit: Seems that I should.  But really, this bug is fucking frustrating me, I would like to be able to play FH again.

Perhaps I should just hire Lobo to come to my house and fix it.  Alright, so maybe it would be easier to just reinstall at this point.  But last time that didn't work.  Are there more files I need to delete?

Alright so I just reinstalled BF2 completely and that didn't help.

Edit: Great so now I can't even fucking play vanilla anymore because my "cd key is not valid".
