They're just so... Russian! No frills, nothing superfluous. Just a damn tube, a firing pin, and a 1/4" of leather to put your cheek up against.

I've always been a fan of AT rifles. I may have a total of 4 kills in my career against nothing more than a half track... But there's something very satisfying about their use.

Womp. Well not much of a response on this thread haha.

So I decided I'll visit Palau. There's some of the best scuba diving in the world there and a bunch of WWII significance! I plan to do some 'sploring around the island, check out any bunkers that may be there (still in the middle of my research), explore Peleliu, dive some of the shipwreck and airplane wrecks etc.

I'll keep everyone updated as I plan more out!

Hi everyone!

My brother will be studying abroad in Australia this fall, and I'm absolutely planning to visit him. I live on the east coast of the US, so any trip to Australia is a major effort. I figure I can maximize some of this travel time by visiting some WWII significant sites on my way out!

I am a scuba diver and would love to spend some time underwater, which is convenient given the geography of the Pacific battleground :) So far I've considered Truk & Bikini atolls for some super serious diving. I'm leaning away from that now, since most of the wrecks there are deeper than 130 feet, putting them outside the limits of an amateur diver like myself. For good combined sea/land touristing I'm thinking about the Solomons, or Palau.

Anyone toured the any WWII Pacific sites before? Any suggestions?

Heh, "hand model." :)

The video you posted is from a very, very early version of the game. To me the arms look a bit skinny and disproportionate. They're out of place as there is no rest of the body (legs etc.) and don't exactly add a whole lot to the cockpit experience. Probably why they were scrapped.

It would be neat to see the rest of your body in the plane, but would undoubtedly require a ton of work.

Yeah Bouras, can you post a pic of what you mean? It sounds pretty slick.

Good to see folks are still chatting about BG42 & BGF. I remember in the dark days waiting for FH2 looking at a bunch of BGF videos.

(Edit: Sorry for the spelling Bouras)

Wow, I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this. People have adequately conveyed how incredible the map & new content looks, and I strongly agree with what has been said.

Most importantly, I love that this is how you guys shared the new map. I missed the live stream, but watching the Youtube later was just as much fun. I felt like I was getting a "one on one" tour with a pair of Devs. This has made FH2 a great deal more personal. I sincerely appreciate how forthcoming you guys were with information, your honesty, and your openness. It feels like a new chapter in the FH2 journey.

This Twitch showing was perfect. It was professional, yet extremely fun and interactive. You guys are fantastic. Keep up the incredible work.
