I thought the KV-1s hade ligther or thinner armour, if it is on par with the matilda then it is actually quite good armour when i read the neews it looks like it sacrified armour and got a smaller turret to gain better/more speed.

I actully thought this would be more like a medium strong tank if it is as heavy armourd as a Matilda and have even sacrificed somthing, then its a bloody hard to crack tank, even for good german guns.
I actully wonder now howe fast this will be.

Well, strictly speaking, the KV-1S has slightly thicker max armour than the Matilda, but in the terms of the way armour works ingame, they are pretty much the same.  The difference is that the Matilda has to face 5.0cm guns that cannot hurt it.  The KV-1S was up against the 7.5cm gun that could quite easily hurt it.

The KV-1 first had 75mm of armor. The model 1941 had 75+20. And the Model 1942 had 110 mm of armor

The crews complained that the KV did not had much advantage over the T34. Only more armor. It had far less mobility yet the same firepower.

KV crews sended feedback that the KV most needed thing was more firepower
The response=OK MORE SPEED BY LESS ARMOR K

So the KV went back to 75mm of armor....with a bit more speed

Forget the tanks, I request the GAZ-64/67...

Beautiful little vehicle if I don't say so myself.

Just did.  ;) Are they planning on reworking the textures though?

In as much as a 3DSmax file and a texture set can be considered a place holder.

Uuuuuh yeah that jeep looks pretty damn good to me. Definitely FH2 ready, minus the coding, animating and all that extra jazz.

It's not bad, but it's still BF42' vintage. The Tires are too thick, the interior textures should be improved for BF2 engine, and general textures could be sharpened...
