I heard that Russian troops sometimes had captured vehicles at the front of their convoys to confuse the Germans. Perhaps that Stuka knew what's up.

Bullshit, SdKfz 251 number 163 had clear orders, scout ahead and transmit the size of the enemy formations to HQ, then move around the tanks and pick off any Russian infantry that tries to sneak pass. Instead they went back to HQ after reporting, so mr. Galland and his Stuka came to aid.

Can some of you beta testers help me identify the map screenshots for the Bulge Patch?

1.
    Foy?

2.
    Battle Of The Bulge?

3.
    Vossenack?

4.
    Hurtgen Forrest?

Also, how many total maps can we expect in the next patch?
 ???

Even though most will agree it was time to move from BF42 to BF2, with such things as ironsights, smarter bots, etc, etc... We also lost alot. The engine was not made for the scope of FH, or WW2 for that matter - Yet, we have made good with it... do you really want us to move to a new engine and find out that we can't even have aircrafts, say.... Or vehicles?

i am going to fire back that frost bite would permit aircraft.. BF1943.. just saying. XP

They can't. There are rules you know. ;)

I can, but I'm not going to. Those shots are all Work in Progress. We're simply letting you know we are working on stuff by showing these screenshots. You'll find out which maps are which when we make newsupdates about them.

Also, how many total maps can we expect in the next patch?
We aren't at the stage in development yet where we can say anything about the contents of the next patch.

Could you add a section for the Soviets on the Homepage in the vehicle tab and add those 2 tanks?

Ok, so I am not asking because I want to rush anything, But in the news update, it was mentioned that the work process was going faster. Appreciated, there are 2 theaters being worked on at the same time, however, its been 6 months since the last release... that's aprox. twice as long as other releases, and with us not being close enough to know how many maps there are... Well,... how fast is faster here?

That's cause this is another theater per-say. In the last few patches we've only released maps and a few new vehicles. Now we have to deal with snow and all the effects and art stuff associated with that, plus re-skins and new maps.

Closer to 3 months I think you'll find.  2.3 released on the 6th October.

I still hope that Bulge can be release in the colder time of the year... else it would be a bit strange to play it first. Bulge with 30° for the first time would be kinda strange. :P
The imagination to play bulge while it's foggy and snowy outside of the house is just making it better.

Lets's hope.  :)
