Torenico, if you love the ELC, keep it as the 12T is a real change in gameplay. With the 12T you begin the autoloader AMX branch.
The 12T has in common with the ELC that this tank (and its successors, 13 75 and 13 90) is a hit'n run tank. However, contrary to the ELC, the 12T has a okayish mobility but accelerates slowly. In consequence, while the ELC can just run across the map, the 12T is only a practice target for high tiers if you try to scout the battlefield similarly to its predecessor. Instead, you need to passively scout, hiding in a bush, spotting for your teammates, working as a TD. Once the battle evolves, you can then come out of your bush and attack lonely damaged tank, like a vulture. Accuracy is not that great, forget to shoot on the move if you're not in close combat. Unload your 6 shells into the ass of the damaged enemy, ran away to reload and do that again to another tank, circling it while it hopelessly try to shoot you.
The 13 75 is exactly the same, same gun with only more HP, but since you meet more higher tiers, you can't withstand more shells. This long grind only comes to an end when you unlock the 90 mm on the 13 90, which becomes slightly more agile, but far deadlier.
Imho, the 12T is good for its tier. I kept it while I quickly sold the 13 75, enjoying now the joy of trolling T10 with the 13 90. Main problem are :
- coming from the ELC can seem a big drawback. More passive scouting. But the autoloader open new possibilities, mainly to finish enemies.
- you depend A LOT on your team and on the enemy facing you. You won't stand a chance against 2 or more enemies while alone since you can't take hits and you need to hit the rear or sides. However you can distract them, helping your teammates. You can suddenly come from unexpected positions and start hammering the back of this big guy that hold all your teammates, too afraid to advance.
