BF2/FH2 crashes with new screen.
« on: 29-09-2010, 16:09:28 »
Bought myself a brand new screen 2 days ago and now I wanted to play some FH2 with this awesome new screen but it crashes at start up.

I run as admin, screen goes black, back to desktop and FH2 crash report.

Does this has something to do with the refresh rate?

Running Windows 7 64-bit, never had any problems with BF2/FH2/PR/etc. on this OS and the screen is a HP L2151ws.

Thanks guys!

make a copy of your bf2 folder in my documents and delete the content, should revert all settings to default, if doesn't help you atleast got your backup if you need to do something else.

if it works, just change the settings back to what you want

Or change the video resolution in the video.con to the default 800x600 resolution. It's in your user profile folder.

Kummitus his solution worked perfectly! Will remember NTH's when it happens again, sounds a tad easier; no account retrieving  :P
