Dear Players,

to begin the public bug test of the new Community Map Pack,
we will start with the batch of Pacific Maps on Server [762]#3
tonight at 18.00 UTC (20.00 Berlin/Paris).

Click the picture to download!

We'll do a few test rounds, you will have a chance to look at
re-worked maps like Battle Isle 1944 (heavily polished by Papillon)
and new ones like Tarawa and Tulagi (prepared by pr0z4c).
Others have been prepared by GeoPat, especially the small layers.

Lots of new equipment was ported into the CMP by the team and stuff fixed
by Harmonikater such as the improved Arisaka, Katana and Japanese LMG.

We will continue during the week with more themed test evenings
(Italy, France, North Africa). I will announce that here.
FREMIDENIS has joined our force as mapper and given us the new map
"Bloody Marsh", which will be fun to play.

Now we need YOUR help again: please report your findings here:
http://www.762-ranking.de/site/viewforum.php?f=26
As usual, each map has its own thread for reporting bugs.

The quality of the CMP will depend on the amount of support that we
can get from you as community. We are only a small mapping team,
so especially bug testing is something you can really help us with.

After the public beta testing phase, we will release the CMP and run it on
[762]#1 like the last CMP, with a mix of all FH2 vanilla maps and all CMP maps
1x in the rotation, merged together. So your work will flow directly into your
gaming fun.
We can't think of a better way to include you players in the
mapping process. It will be "your" CMP, too.

All CMP maps do have 16p, 32p and 64p layers (=map sizes) and those will be
selected automatically according to player numbers at the end of the round before.

Feel free to ask questions HERE, take a look! :)

I thought Odium turned into an IntelĀ® spambot or something for a minute there.

Looks like you guys got access to some of the devs work or bought new models, very cool 8)

I like how Tarawa is coming along so far. I'll have some feedback I can post later.

Tarawa & Tulagi (or as we 0.7 vets know it as Too-Laggy Isle) are really nice!

yes, run the community updater.   then run the repair function too if you have any install or playing issues.

A quick heads-up: tonight @ 18.00 UTC we will test play some regular CMP maps
and some brand new stuff like "Bloody Marsh" by mapper Fremidenis.

Run the FH2 Community Updater (picture link first post) and take a look yourself tonight!

Not so laggy now  :D

Edit: I am honored to see such positive reactions on the tarawa map 8).(my first map for fh2).  I am working on the latest changes to complete the map. Tulagi is still a WIP. hope to complete v1 soon.

We would need to port some destroyable objects....

Players who are enthousiastic about making a map can always contacts us  ;) we could certainly use some reinforcements
