I have (and have had since 2.15) the exact same problem at Mr. Lainer

Win XP
-Fresh install of FH2 (and XP) less than a month ago.
AMD fx-60 dual core
2 GB RAM
no firewalls (just the XP one with FH2 excepted)
no anti-virus

so the toolbox is allowed in your xp firewall as well fh2?

Whats the irq address.. the irq button thingie wont seem to work for me :)

#fhmod @gamesurge

but if possible, lets try it tomorrow ... its kinda late here and i have to get up early again tomorrow ...

EDIT: It did indeed complain that it couldn't find fh2.exe first and my profiles. But that message dissapeared after i quit FH2 and retried to open FH2 Toolbox.

try to delete (backup first!) your settings.ini out of the config subfolder ... restart the toolbox and tell me if it still cant find your profile ...

well for the vista problems: try to start the app with admin rights and in winxp compatibility mode ... that should fix the problem for vista ...

for winxp ... ehem well ... if possible, try to contact me via our irc channel to make some short end-to-end tests. are you using any software firewall?

so it just closes itself without any visible error message? do you use any software firewall? did it complain in the past for _not_ finding your bf2 installation and/or profile? do you have the latest version of the toolbox 1.0.085? Windows XP or Vista? SP?

This is from the another post in a forum topic above:
1) FH2 Toolbox and Vista. Was there ever any fix for this?

-Starting the toolbox or refreshing the list either freezes (temporarily) or crashes the program. No servers show up in the list.
-Specs: Vista 32bit, FH2.15, FH2 Toolbox latest update (1.0.085), no filters activated
-Clicking on the toolbox while it's refreshing freezes/crashes it.

Perhaps all that's needed is to reinstall FH2. :-\

I have the same problem. Alltoh I have Windows XP (sp 2) not Windows Vista.

I believe that both of us (atleast i do) get the error message and that windows has to shut down the program.

For me the error comes up when i either start FH2 Toolbox and klick on it before the "fh2 icon" has dissapeared and normal mouse icon is back... or when i try to refresh the servers. Note that i too don't get any servers on the server list... Used to work but now i have a new computer can post specs if u want me to, maybe you'll find something that we have in common.

This is what it does....On start up the FH2 icon swirls about for a bit then just gives me the FH2 Toolbox minus the servers (yes the notes and updates used to come up..I cleared them so they no longer show themselves).  The crash happens when I have the audacity to question the Toolboxes display of no servers by pressing the refresh key.  It swirls about for a bit then shits itself and dies.  Would giving you the complete error report help at all?  If so where is that damn thing located?

Thanks in advance.

ok, well, to make it short, pbsetup.exe dont likes it (in version 3.4) if you start it with the name PBSetup.exe ... dont ask me why but you can test it yourself when you start it using a command window or batch files ...

anyway ... its fixed localy and i will try to upload a patch for the toolbox soon ...

if you think you can try to rename pbsetup.exe to PBSetup.exe then you are wrong, pbsetup refuses to work after this ... strange app, but perhaps its on purpose.

so i declare this case as: SOLVED (or in progress :-D)
