While I was searching on some info about MicroVolts I stumbled upon this fun little game:

Warstory - Europe in Flames is a free to play (and rather simple), browser-based, WW2 MMO strategy game, where you can play as either the Americans, or the Soviets and the goal is to be the first to reach Berlin and to liberate Europe.
The game is pretty much a time-waster, by this, I mean that you don't need to be in it all the time, as alot of stuff in the game uses real-time, like travelling between cities, receiving supplies or simply waiting for new missions to do.
The main website is at http://warstory.bigpoint.com/ , it offers a tutorial to get you introduced to the game, without needing to register beforehand (if you do decide to register, I suggest doing it at bigpoint.com, as the Warstory website seems to be having a few problems).
