Not just the two guys at the front most seats... but also, thousands of guys in the factory assembly line, dozens of guys in the design room, accounting room, management board room. And then, hundreds of guys in the maintenance hangar, the guys wandering around the plane before the flight, the guys sitting at fart-stinking chair with giant radar screen in front of them and a microphone headset, the guys sitting around you. The guy with the 'mighty pen', the guy that write the aircraft service bulletin, the guy whose job is to mail the bulletin, bunch of 9gagers and alike commenting on aircraft accident that might influence regulators to the wrong direction due to mounting public pressure (on the basis of ignorance).
Society works that way. Even you have to trust the farmers growing your tomorrow morning's muesli cereal breakfast ingredients do not accidentally ground hidden mobster victim corpse when he/she harvests the crops. Have to trust that the packaging guy does not pick his nose too often before he close the lid of that muesli carton box you eventually bring home.
I think you have to let it go.
