I agree on the taxis driving like nut jobs in Turkey, Italy, and Spain. I think Italy might actually have been the worst. The first time I was in Rome, some football team (Roma?) had just won a tournament or something and everything was just chaos.

Buy an old Volvo . 15 kilometers of finest Swedish steel, The only thing able to even scratch these is another Volvo, or at least a MBT. Seriously though, i think there are plenty of cars that would allow you to survive harsh turkish driving environment.

Indeed, hatchbacks aren't cutting it anymore, they get messed up even at slow speed collisions, the chassis of the Golf has literally bent at the front apparently I talked to the X6 owner, apparently he got damage from the taxi but blamed the taxi on the whole thing, so me and him ended up being friendly and decided to blame the damn taxi together Thinking about an Audi, unfortunately I can't buy a tank lol.
