Sweden has won the U20 World Cup after defeating Russia in Sudden Death!
Last time Sweden won the U20 World Cup was back in 1981 and that was until now the only time Sweden has ever won the U20 WC.
Great game, so intense and so nervous. Even though Sweden had over 50 shots at goal and Russia only had about 10 it was still such an existing game. Russia really held it together.
Last time Sweden was in the finals was two years ago when Canada really just steamrolled Sweden.
Awesome night, it's 4:40 in the morning and half of Sweden have been up all night to watch this and the Sudden Death overtime and now it's all breaking loose.
