'in game' cursor appears/moves and I can here the main menu mu

My FH2 used to work fine. But now things have gone mysteriously wrong every time I launch the game. The 'in game' cursor appears/moves and I can here the main menu music but the background remains black. I don't know weather this to do with the game update or something wrong with my gaming PC.
Please Help!

Hello Histexpo,

Have you tried the "repair" function in the FH2 Launcher via Options>Update/Repair? That will bring your FH2 to the latest public release (2.51) and hopefully will fix that issue.
