A car is just something to get you from point A to point B, if it does so with the least harm to the environment and other people, then that's a plus.

Who on earth needs a car that goes faster than 200km/h? Or from 0-60mph in 4s?
All just toys for people to compensate their other deficiencies. ^^

I got a VW Passat 1.9l and it does it's 6.2L on 100km and is the best comfort I've ever had for a budget.

If I take the BMW it would be the The Business Dynamic Efficient, it's the most enviroment friendly.

Depends, actually. When you live in or near a country where you can go that fast and/or you like driving, track days etc. things are a little different

I can absolutely understand that not everybody wants to shell out on a fast car (in fact, I don't have any car at the moment- it just doesn't make any sense when you live within 30 minutes walking of everything you ever have to reach, in a country where 70% of all drivers should be in a mental institution, but instead result in a max speed limit of 70 mph )
however, when I move back to our Wirtschaftswunderland I'll probably invest in a fast car again. Not for the girls because a)that doesn't work  and b)I don't need that (hopefully). I simply love driving fast (not dangerous!) in a high quality car.
