Visited a nice history festival today, with lectures from various historians, from the UK, the Netherlands and Russia.

The last lecture I saw was by Anthony Beevor and it was on Hurtgen Fortest and Bulge:

It was a nice talk, I learned a few new things about how often shooting of prisoners occurred during the Bulge, and also how much the Hurtgen fight resembled World War One trenchfighting. Overall I already knew a lot about it, but it was nice anyway. Sometimes it was a tad hard to follow because of his accent, though ;)
