i believe the german AT rifle is slightly stronger (at least it was so in real live) in terms of armor penetration. but the slow rate of fire makes it the weaker weapon

for crusaders fire at the top of their turret, this is my only tips, light tanks are too easy for German AT rifles.

You could heal by just sitting.. haha i remember when i was German.. i was healin. Then a storm of Shermans and US soldier came.. and i was watching how my comrades dies :P
  
I know, no one ever bothered me if i was sitting on the bench. Multiple times on Breakthrough I had tons of enemies just run right by me, I guess people just assumed that the german sitting over there in the corner watching them go by must be a static or something.

i once shot a guy that tried to kill me while i was sitting. i laughed.

When you're driving it, I assume your player model will sit in the turret acting as the commander.  So if you stay still too long, someone may just snipe you out sdkfz222 style.

It'll should be open, same as the Marder is ingame now.
Except that the gunner in the marder needs to be sitting with the gun rather than down in the hull as he currently is.

the sdkfz 222 is lame, not to say MG fire would immediately kill the driver, i did shot the driver out many times using a SMG and of course those guys never tried to use that speedy coffin again.

Which means, of course, that doubling m doubles K.E., while doubling V quadruples K.E. Because action is equal and opposite to reaction, no matter how you produce more K.E., the recoil is still proportional to the K.E. The K.E. released into the target depends on how much is left when the projectile flies out the opposite end, so because this doesn't happen in FH2 the K.E. released into the target is %100 what it started with, minus that lost to air resistance. Of course, if the shot flies out the opposite end of a tank, it released more than enough K.E. to do its job.

unfortunately, resistance increase with velocity and the way to reduce KE loss is to fire a heavier shell (which stores more KE due to higher mass, from E=1/2mv^2), so i think the actual case is much much more complicated. the 37mm guns fire shells with very high velocity yet they ... sucks.

Well tore, its gun is better then the tiger's.  And the tiger takes all tanks with one shot.  So yeah, do the math;)

hmm i had no idea, i knew it was really good but its only a 75mm. Maybe thats why they always kick my ass in mow.

i think the armour piercing ability is related to momentum of the shell and the pressure when the shell stuck the plates...

pressure is proportional to Force/Area, while Force is proportional to momentum which is proportional to both mass and velocity...

the reasoning behind is because pressure cause stress in materials and make them deform.

so if the shell could be hitting enemies at very high velocity i think it could outweights the shells' inferior mass.

the actual case if far more complicated, but this is my prediction with a simple "model" using my knowledge.

More kubels/small transport vehicles is nice, but they should be spawning at capped flags. Right now, there's usually only an APC of some sort, I'd like to see more transportation. Also, could the camo net and shield be removed from the 88 in the south? It's the only 88 there and right now it's hard to use as AA.

but what about all those kubel rush to rear lines? this is sometimes very annoying. Personally i don't see it looked good when you see a bunch of kubels running at top speed towards enemy lines and rush to the rear flags and cap the hell out there.

Maybe if you "place" the Priest,for example...

You drive it to the location needed,and you press one key,and you "drop",the Priest on the ground,move to 2nd postion and you fire,move to 1st position,press another key,and you can drive it again...I dont know if this is possible with the BF2 Engine...

lol deployable mortar in big vehicle scale. it could be buggy though .

btw i know there are deployable mortars, however more powerful medium arty are indispensable, currently in Alam Halfa you have to use captured 25 pounders after taking 4 flags for axis...

if mobile arty isn't really possible, would it be good that, in some maps, especially push, when the attacking team capped a frontal flag, say, in Alam Halfa capturing 4 flags for axis, axis side would have a few unmovable "mobile" arty in the upper flags and could be used to barrage the allied position rather than using the british 25 pounders. They should be destroyable and respawn after a while rather than being repaired.

i think this would make the game looked better, just a thought.

First I thought you meant that the guy in the 2nd position fired in the air, and that got the tank killed by some AT guy, but that is wrong, as MG guy can never protect the tank from AT guys. Never.
maybe you meant shooting at planes or something?... dont understand.

there are always trigger happy idiots firing the hull MG randomly, fearing the lack of actions, and inevitably enemy tanks would be aware of the presence of a tank. This could ruin your day if you are trying to ambush enemy tanks.
