[Map] Battle for Bourguébus ridge WIP

I'm not sure how much support I will get with this project but here goes;

I want to map The Battle for Bourguebus ridge. Bourguebus ridge was a heavily defended gunline southeast of Caen roughly 3km away from Cagny. After Caen was secured mixed allied forces drove an attack onto the Bourguebus gun line. Heavy bombardment of the line took place before the attack went forward. Fortunatly for the Germans, the large majority of the AT (88mms) and Artillery (Nebelwerfers) were still intact and useable. The allied advance went forward, sustaining many casualities. When they finally reached bourguebus they encountered a German armored couter attack by the 1ss Panzer division. This made the battle for Bourguebus ridge a large scale tank engagment. (Very breif overview)

The map will focus on 3 areas. The British, comprised mainly of shermans and fireflys start in the south of Bourguebus. The brunt of the German armor, 101/503 Heavy tank battalion start south of La Hogue.

The germans start with La Hogue and a small line of broken resistance. The British can quickly use their armor to capture Tilly la campange. Undecided about other flags. But will probably be junctions along the road.

Only problem. I am a terrible mapper. Would anyone take me under there wing, or even better :P Help in the creation of this map?

Is it your first map? If so, you should work on a small map at first. I also wanted to create something big and awesome, but it failed, now I'm trying it again with my gained skill.
All you need for learn mapping are some good tutorials.

Everything at the moment is very sketchy. As you can see that map is based purely on what is actually there 1/1. Things can be moved about slightly. Farms for flags could be added. TBH i doesn't look like this will go anyfurther. I have no experience mapping (BFE crashes as soon as i select to FH2 as its start up mod) And i can't find anyone willing to map it/get involved and help in the project. :(

Yes, it said that the error message i get is to do with spawners or i missed a step during extraction, but i can't figure it out because i've done it step-by-step from here: http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=1804.0

Don't care about the 2.2 files, do that in the tutorial, I've done the same with 2.2 and it works, and better reinstall the editor and delete the 2.2 files, like the lightmap samples, shaders and undergrowth files, you can get them back later, just start the editor without them.

I just uninstalled BFEditor and all its componants. Reinstalled BFEditor without the FH2 files, started it up in FH2 mod and the it crashed the same as before.

Is it also crashing in the other mods?
And try to run it in the Windows XP or 98 Mode.
