Hello,

I have a question about Combat Area of this map( this question is valid for all fh2 maps without SP)

Is the box "UsedByPathFinding" has been marked, when the combat area has been created?

Today I have added SP for Lebisey 16, but I have deleted existing CA and I have added new one.

If you intend on navmeshing the 64 size map, you just made my day week... ;)

sure, I will see what I can do for you :P, but at the moment I want to do some adjustments and finish Lebisey 16.
after yesterday testing, I think the battle looks hard, but needs from a little adjusting.

Its great to hear of guys like aserafimov fixing maps so we can play SP. I look
forward to seeing your accomplishments.
This is proberly a big ask , but is there any chance of someone making up
a tutorial for SP mapping in FH2.
Ive tried using the editor before but with no sucess , at the time my pc
wasnt up to the task and it would crash every 5 min but now i think ive
got a system that can stand it.

if anybody can be bothered doing these tuts this is where i need help.

Editor and File setup
How to make a simple map
How to make that map SP

I know there are some titorials out there but I think we need some
special for FH2 ,and because im a real dummy I need that
extra help.

I realise this is a big task for someone to undertake but
if it could be done in a sep by step process im sure we would
all reap the rewards of having some interesting new maps to play.

Thats where I did most of my initial learning. The singleplayer stuff you can find around elsewhere, just type your question into google  :)

You can also find a lot of helpful tips in the 'modding' section of these forums. I think they have more up to date stuff there too

I haven't seen them move...but then I haven't played it for more than a few minutes at a time due to an unrelated problem... >:(

yes, the british tanks move, they start movement when the british troops captured the first german CP Rue d'Epron.

... and sorry but I play this map still without any CTD's

Sry for double post.

i testet lebisey with Drawd´s mod. I had no CTD but when the brits capture all flags the Germans did not spawn at the Fuel Depot Bunker.

Hi man,

thanks for your support and feedback....you have reached to the last german captured point....very well:) I still do attempts to reach it.

 I tested Lebisey with normal FH2 and Drawde's mod and I had no CTD...

about the bunker CP, I will rework it and inform you...thanks.

So far it seems to CTD within the first couple of minutes every second time I load it, as strange as that sounds...I'm not using Drawde's minimod yet either. :-\

If it CTD, I just load it back up and it seems to be OK. And, yes, it plays really well.

Taking the Garage is hard work, getting to the HQ is even harder, with bots swarming out of the undergrowth and Granatewerfer shells raining down all around you... :)


I did notice a couple of small problems:

 - The bots get stuck upstairs at the CP next to the Brit main (I'll post a screenshot tomorrow)

 - If the HQ flag is neutralized, the German bots can't recap it because they don't go into the house, they just sit around in front of it and they need to enter the house to be within the flag's capture radius...

Is the house navmeshed? You'd only have to mesh the ground floor, even just the hallway between the front and rear doors, if it's not already.

The bots weren't being very cooperative today, but I've seen them stuck against the railing (where the crosshair is) and against the wall on the left side of the doorway.

Hmmm,i hope this is of some help
many moons ago, i heard of a similar problem referring to the first map being played,and the cure was something very simple
it was noticed/fixed by a Dev from the Pirates or the BF2 Aus mod
If you ask them the question here (they visit reguarly)

small update...
yesterday, I worked over Lebisey 16 size map, I have edited vehicle and infantry navmesh with maya.

and now:
- the brits/german panzers can pass through the town.
- the trench between church and town already is usable.
- added one more german control point.

I noticed during map testing...
the british soldiers have used their 3inch mortar during the battle...its deadly for the german troops, but the germans do not use their mortars at all..only AT guns..??
