reinstalled hotfix 2 and it worked like a charm
-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

Played a bit more today. My ffedback:

General:
- Great job making these maps and organising events like this, keep up the good work!
- I had several ctd's, some with and some without BF2 mem error.

Maps:
- Diadem is OK, although only one real tank for allies is a bit meh.
- Salerno has sectorpush, but it is kind of hard to get flags which are so far apart at the same time. Also, the castleflag is often too hard to take. The fact that it becomes an objectovemap in the end should be communicated better to the players. Many were wondering why they had not won after capping all flags.
- Etna Line is a classic in the Italy campaign. The town is still a bit of an artificial maze. The rest is OK.
- Garigliano crossing is may fav map of this event. A tad unbalanced in fav of the allies, but very cool features (vehicles, static buildings like the farm with the cellar) and cool gameplay. Downsides are the low fps I had on this map and the spawnvehicles should be different imo. Not fast ones like the Schwimmwagen.

I had great fun, sadly there were also many whiners again who made it their daytime job to sum up as much crap they didn't like as they could. Please, go on an empty server and whine there next time. That way you can whine all the time and we can play in the meantime. Everybody happy.

We hope you enjoyed our Italian Weekend and the intensive 64+ battles on our servers. We want to thank you guys for your participation. The experiences we gathered from this event brought us a lot closer towards launching our first joint campaign in general and 64+ campaign battles specifically.

Since you've been populating the servers so much, we are going to run them a little longer and on top of that we managed to fix the crash issues on Biazza Ridge and put it back in the rotation, giving you another map to explore!

After 3 evenings playing I noticed several things:

Overall really great maps, but:
    - Garigliano is really unbalaced - especially airforce (Axis also needs Whirblewind), havent seen Axis win this map
    - Diadem needs better push mode - Americans usually won because of back capping; also suiciding by falling from the hill and getting stuck in the holes was quite annoying; also I suggest to remove mine kit - tanks can only use roads and it's to easy to eliminate them
    - Salerno is quite ok, maybe different push mode, like it was played in the campaign, but objectives should stat
    - Etna - Spit IX is really OP there, I don't know if theres any German plane who can lead equal dogfight against him, so I suggest to add Whirblewind; and less tickets for Americans - if Germans want to win, they will have to keep Americans all the time on the bleed, and I'm not sure if it would be enough (however the ticket ratio for 64 players might be ok)


And now some thoughts about gameplay:
-After reading some complaints about lack of efficiency of Germans tanks, I decided to check it out and drive a bit more than usually. I was quite shocked when I found out that Tiger need 2 shots to destroy M10 from the front and Panzer IV can't destroy Sherman from the side with one shot (even from close distance! This is ridiculous!
-People don't know how to play this game - usually whole team defends 1 flag while 5 others are also cappable and instead of defending them, they run like headless chickens around the map; people don't know what red cross or green loop means; there's no teamplay and theres no good sls - while attacking the flag, usually sl is running first, getting shot first and attack is failed or behaves in the way that you're geeting killed all the time...  ::)

We have now added a couple of mediterranean stock FH2 maps into the mix for a bit more variety.

Garagliano (Sp?) is beautifull but it lagged pretty bad for me, to the point that it was almost unplayable. Schwimmwagen spawn makes no sense, it just makes it a flaghopping vehicle.

Def agree with slayer about Troina, its well done but could do without some alleys. And spice up the rest of them, not just a bunch of boxes. Put some clotheslines between the houses, add some ambient noises etc. As for rest of Etna consider switching the pastawheel grass to something less obvious, I know its italy and all but its pretty noticeable  ;)

Salerno, I love it, problem is that the town gets capped in no time while the castle is a meatgrinder. The objective at the end was a real surprise but the germans didnt seem to have ability to defend it.

Diadem you gotta put the northern part beyond the mountain as OOb, a bunch of us fell down and was basicly stuck there. A flare gun for nco would be nice.

Gargliano is the best of the bunch, both gameplay-wise and graphically. Love the "hidden rebel base" in the barn's basement especially, and especially the flamethrower.

Etna, yeah, the town looks too barren, otherwise good job.

Salerno, first we were being slaughtered on the waterfront, then all the flags fell and we won like 700-0. Some balancing needed?

Diadem, the mountains are still a bit of hit and miss, there are places where you could seemingly walk but cannot, you fall unexpectedly to your death, and the terrain and the town look really barren. Lots more undergrowth and lots more statics in the town would make the map look better.

Biazza, needs push or sector push, now it's a nonstop backcapping frenzy (though not knowing the actual battle, this may actually be accurate to the real thing). Looks good though.

Overall, nice maps that with a little polishing and gameplay changes could well be made into official maps IMO.
