I have but one word for the Zveno: EPIC.

What was the music in the first video? I recognized the Red Alert 3 march/Red October Hymn.

"Finally, O Duce, you are with us. We will cover you with roses, but the smell of your virtue will overpower the smell of those roses."

Yeah, sure, his "virtue"...

I have to come clean, guys, I'm just pushing for these to be added so my dream of an "A-Team vs. the Wehrmacht" map can finally come to fruition...

Oh, don't worry, I'm well aware of all the extra equipment you'd need in real life to weld/cut (just got certified as an apprentice six months ago). But considering that these ideas are all replacements for the Crescent Wrench of God(TM), that shouldn't be a big problem. ;)

Hell, if it bothers you, just sprinkle a few oxygen/acetylene tanks around the vehicle spawns and call it a day. You could even make them destroyable.

How about a cutting torch instead? Not for repairing vehicles, but for removing enemy ones that your team is locked out of. Of course, the process of "salvaging" a full health vehicle should be fairly long (ie. at least 30 seconds) so that it couldn't be used very effectively as a weapon (unless the victim was AFK in his tank).

I support the addition of the Sturmtiger as long as it takes 10 minutes to reload like the real one. :P

General Discussion / Re: FHSW 0.4 Coming soon!

My copy is a .zip file as well, djinn, and it worked fine. Installed over FH 0.7 though, not 0.6...

Can anyone translate this? Ran it through Babelfish, and I think the gist of it is that someone resigned, and now the release is delayed? :(

A guy I saw in an FH1 server back in the day still takes the cake: "S***LER"

Both FH versions: Enfield No.2/Webley. Just something about packing a revolver that makes you feel like a badass. Waiting for my M1917!

FH1: The fact that mappers seem to have a fetish for putting that "church bell ringing" sound from Orel in their maps. Not only is it annoying, but what kind of lunatic would be ringing a church bell in the middle of a battle?

I've got the opposite opinion when it comes to infantry combat, really. To me, compared with other games, BF2's infantry combat feels like you're wearing lead shoes.

I'm still looking forward to FH2 Normandy, though - maybe it can finally pry me from FH1 for good...

Is that Dwarf Fortress, Schneider?

Suggestions / Re: Liberator pistol

Effective at only point blank range? Single shot only? This would be the ultimate humiliation weapon. The sight of someone's name preceded by [liberator Pistol] would probably cause them to leave the server...

But no, the amount of modeling/animation work to put it in the game just isn't worth it, no matter how hilarious it might be. :D
