Picked Kar98 since it's  easier to use. doesn't have recoil, clear aiming point, you can assault and snipe - both.

On a more serious note, I am actually able to use the G43 just as well as the K98 usually. It only took me about a round or two to get used to it. After that, the simplicity of the bolt action didn't matter to me.

I aim more carefully with a bolt action and I get more kills with it. I voted K98.

In this case I vote for G43. If it was Garand versus any bolt action rifle, the bolt action would get my vote.

I do fine with both rifles, with k98 my style is just more carefull and I avoid places where enemy could jump right in front of me.

Personal preference. To me Garand and G43 have the best iron sights.

First time to FH2? Because that's how noobs act like. Welcome to the forums then  

Now seriously. You know pretty damn well that semi-autos give you 2x-3x the firepower. How you manage it is down to your skill. Still, you can take your time even with a semi-auto. Not having to take your eyes off a target in order to charge your weapon is in fact a big advantage.

The reason I'm whining is because there was a build (2.1-2.15, not sure) where bolt-action rifles were a bit more accurate over long range. This made you feel like they were worth using for the sake of being forced to take a shot at an extreme range occasionally. Now it's gone, why? Isn't it good for both realism as well as for gameplay/balance purposes?
