*Le Bump!*

Bought a KJW Mk.II Gas Carbine/Sniper off of Airsoftgi and it should arrive next week.

A Customized one

My UTG M324S Gen. 3 sniper was a spring sniper that although I loved dearly as my first serious gun, was too slow and only good as a begginers sniper. The Gen. 5 is out now and I'll eventually buy the upgrade kit for my Gen. 3 to turn it Gen. 5

As my search started and I found the KJW Mk.II, I read maybe 70 some-odd reviews and found that the gun is a great carbine sniper of sorts!

It can take any gas too, from the humble HFC 134a to the godly Xtreme Red gas. The FPS ranges from that of 350-ish to around 638 fps. (With .20's) The Barrel is roughly 17" but somewhere out there is a mod to make it 32" - 33" so I'll look into that. The body is made of ABS and plastic while all the internals are made of Metal. (I plan on putting in a itghtbore for my sexiness)

For an optic mount, I'll be using a Leapers 4 x 32 scope that I used to use with said M324. If the carbine is wonderful, I'll probalby use a Red dot somethin or another scope, depedning on range and such. I'll be sure to post when it arrives about my general thoughts on it.

For those of you with the UTG M324, A teflon/tightbore mod can be found http://www.airsoftohio.com/forums/showthread.php?p=98716 (could somebody tell me how to put the link in a word? I.e. link here) that will increase the FPS quite alot! (The M324 is nice, but its a begginers rifle. It's good for experimenting on though! I may spraypaint mine too)

I had my dad order the gun, but due to verizon (or w/e we have) upgrading servers in our area. the internet at his house died before he could order it. So instead of going for the carbine, I decided I liked the look of the Classic Army Full Metal FS3 SG1. Basically a G3.

I have yet to choose which I like more though, depends if I get my new gearbox for the DBoys Sr-25 soon or not.

you shall not regret it. Classic army is the best one out their.

My 150 euro M15A4 Classic army is considerd a starter gun. And i never had problems with it, compared to other guys of my team who spended 300+ euro for a gun.

I hold 3 companies to be the best: Classic Army, G&G and Systema. Tokyo Marui is close, along with Shoei

Tokyo marui has somehow fallen from competition long time ago imo. 10 years ago it seemed to be only decent manufacturer, but it doesn't bring new nice stuff to markets fast enough and cost more than many other companies.

I´ll probably buy this G36 as soon as I sold my old M4. Fits my loadout and I just read good stuff about it, especially the 3x scope it has built in just like the real-steel G36K.

Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

What do you need to get into Airsoft anyway? I am interested, but I don't know much about it.

Weapon and protection glasses/mask.Thats pretty much it. One can get decent electic automatic gun for 100€ easily.
Easiest way would be find out local hobbyers and maybe ask if someone of them could borrow gun for test match and then it's easier to decide do you want to buy your own equipment.

^this

we had 3 new members, they first borrowed our guns and spare clothing. All 3 wanted moar and now play it active.

But first, try it out.

In terms of a new hobby, airsoft allows you to stay cheap in the beginning. and allows you to stay as cheap or as expensive as you want

If you want something that Kicks ass, go for a AGM Sturmgewher44/mp44! ;D Fits well with both my modern age camo kit and ww2 SS kit. ;D

Currently weathering mine a little bit, to give it a battle-worn look, restaining the buttstock to make it darker.

400-450fps with 0.20 bb's, full metal construction with Real wood. costs about 140-220 dollars (depends on what website you buy from) and have a good 680-700 rpm, wich is very good wfor such a strong AEG

sturdy as hell, and we all know how sexy an STG44 is.

this is an absolute winner.
