So far I love it! I have been craving a large scale realistic ww2 shooter and this was deffinatly what I needed. My only problem is my ping is around 150-200 on the big servers. It plays ok but im afraid of getting banned for my ping. Will this happen or am I being paranoid?

Welcome aboard. No need to worry, much like the internet and the world in general, just be a nice dude and you'll never have to worry about being banned.

Bad ping is no problem - my ping is 160ish on 762, hslan, and most of the populated European servers, and many players do less intense stuff like arty and repair duties with ping upwards of 200-250 with no problem. However, there are servers in Russia and South America you can go on where you might have better ping, and if your ping is bad on European servers there's a good chance your ping will be decent on the WaW public server. We play every Thursday and Friday night (including right now as I type this), so just go to the server browser when you start FH2 and join the WaW FH2.45 #1 bfewaw.com server and play every Thursday and Friday night at 8pm EST!

I have the exact same ping, ON A GOOD DAY. Otherwise I have it around 300 - 400. 762 server, the constantly populated one, does kick you if you have a Ping above 500 for too long, but I'm yet to be banned. Just need to join again after a few minutes.
Also, Its the only server that does that. The rest don't kick at all. So if you have 120 player server on something other than 762, or 762 on a day you don't go above 500 ping, you will really be heaven.

And this game plays well with as few as 24 players, depending on the map, so don't wait to get in only when the numbers are high... some times, that is just a fragfest.

Djinn my friend, you are cut from a stronger cloth than I am, I could not deal with that, I can't play above 208.

Mfw when people have exact numbers of ping they can or can't play with. Come one, your 25-pounders on Goodwood are just as effective coming in @ 350 ping as @20 ping. You can zoom around in Bren Carriers repairing your tanks with a ping of 300. You can definitely pitch in and contribute even if you have a bad connection!

afaik Vbios has a 300 ping kick.
