Keygens will mostly NOT work. Only the original Key which can be found on the back of your manual works for most servers.

Ok I think we've had a language barrier problem here.
A keygen is a tool used to fake/recreate CD Keys in order to play online with illegal BF2 copies.
A CD-Key is the thing you find on your manual when you buy BF2 in order to play online with your DVD Version.

I was hoping that you just missed something, so I reposted that one link with the instructions. But yes it might very well be, that someone has managed to use a keygen to create your legal key and got himself banned from Punkbuster. That might be why servers like HSLAN and 762, who use up to date PB files will kick you (your CD Key).
This is most likely the case because now I know that you bought your CD used (half-life). I bet someone miss-used that copy.

If this is the case, then your only hope is to get a new key from EA's support chat.

Yes, you have to try to get a new key from EA.

The reason why you can get onto the Vietcong Server is because they don't use PB, if I recall correctly. It's always what the server does that counts. All you have to do is to tick the box where it sais PB Enabeld in your Server Browser (see my attached pic).
