Is it usual that I get bombarded with the error

"Could not find valid technique for the shader" while lightmapping the objects? It is mildly unsettling. I know the editor loves giving all kinds of errors in the console, but I can't remember seeing this when I lightmapped last time.

I have installed the lightsamples of both fh2 and regular bf2 in the bf2editor folder.

EDIT: Seems to have worked anyway. Fenring's guide to lightmapping is flawed btw. Setting a light preset resets the sun direction to North. Light preset should be set, then sun direction should be set after. I learned. Painfully.

EDIT 2: On closer inspection I see that a lot of the shadows are wrong and twisted, so I think there is something wrong.

Nice pictures, Mr.ThunderMan. I really like the last one. Amazing how the visuals in this mod still are nice. The update of the shaders back in 2.4 were excellent.

EDIT: Hawk2k9's screenshots were amazing as well! Got a new wallpaper out of it!

Germany - Sweden:

Entertaining. Sweden did not get a penalty, but got a deserved goal instead some minutes later. First half flew by. Second half a much more effective Germany attacked and got an early goal. Germany totally dominated after that, but just could not get the ball in the net. A well deserved, beautiful goal in the end. I do not know what Löw said to Die Mannschaft in the break, but it obviously worked. Are they good enough to win the cup? I don't know. We'll see vs South Korea.

As usual, no Norwegian team in a cup. I cheer primarily on our brother from a past mother: Iceland. Of course also our brother from a slightly more distant mother: Denmark. If (when) those two fail I will cheer on our brother from a distant mother: Germany.

Sweden is uncheerable.

I like how they in the E3 presentation talked about "our portrayal of the second world war". The "Nordlys" war story: While flattered that it is in Norway, there were no lesbian girls partaking in operation gunnerside against the heavy water factory. In fact, not a single shot was fired in that operation. It belongs in a stealth game, not an action packed FPS. I would not be surprised that they just come up with a completely fictional story that has no base in reality. As they mentioned it is their portrayal of WW2.

For people living under a rock: E3 is going on now.

Anyone saw EA's press conference? Short story: it was terrible. Short trailer of BF5 in the beginning, lots of sport games to keep EA economically afloat, three indie games and Anthem. Anthem looked like one of the most generic games ever. I cannot think that will sell well. 

However, worst moment was when they dragged out Command & Conquers corpse from the grave and sexually molested it in the form of a mobile game.

I sold it when my economy was tight. Now I am on the fence on buying another, but I want the new Nvidia 1100 series, not the aging 1000 series. And the prices. Oh lord... Damn bitcoin miners.

Oh, lol- I thought it was one picture for a second. I could not understand how it was physically possible for a Ju to tow that thing when flying. Then I thought the Ju was also hoisted by a crane, but I could not see the cable. That made my brain hurt. Not to mention it made me feel stupid.
