custom map error.....help please "!!!

hello....
i am mapping for vbf2 since long...
i downloaded fh2 and started mapping for it

so i made a quick sp map....with minor details and navmeshed it.......

but it crashed so i ran windowed mod....but there was no error....so i ran debugger and found that ñavmesh had more than 1 island to i edited it and started the map

now it loaded till spawn screen but i cant see kits for selection and would crash if i spawn without any kits

i suspected debugger for that glitch so i made a new sp profile but still the same

even the kit dialog in the editor in level settings is empty and it won't show me kits for soldiers...

so please help me.

AFAIK the way kits are loaded in FH2 is different in order to save some memory and avoid situations when game loads kits which are not used on your map. The map packing script is in your FH2 installation folder (mods\fh2\pack-map.py)

You need to load all used kits in tmp.con in the map folder, since kits are not automatically loaded as it is in vbf2. Check one of the regular fh2 maps for details.

yes but i cant even set kits in the level settings pop-up ............so i changed my init's kit section with another map's kit section but then too no luck!!

and yes i haven't packed my map still

any ideas??

You need to pack the map with FH2 map packing script to play it.

this is my first ever map for fh2...do i dont know..

Can someone tell me how can i pack it with fh2 map packing script?

Install python and run the pack-map.py in the main fh2 folder.
