And that´s the point! With Normandy you get a full server. When you play to much africa the people are leaving the server. That is what we, as serveradmins, are noticing every day.

I know, but we are having africamaps in our cycle and we are rotating them aprox. every two weeks. As serverhoster we CAN´T do nothing more, because otherwise the people would leave the server. The people here in the Forum are only a minority, and don´t represent all the FH2-gamers. Don´t understand me wrong, I would love to see more africamaps, but it´s not possible atm.

Before I utter some small criticism, I would like hslan for making me (dutch time zone) able to play at all at most times. Without hslan I would not have played FH2 any more I think. With admins always fair and attending btw. Thanks for that!

I too have some issues with the hslan-cycle now, but for other reasons. My pc can't run totalize proper, so the most popular map (for the poor taste) I can't play. I like the close infantry the maps the most, but the likes of Falaise and Luttich keep me close as well. But lately I agree, there's too much Lebisey, Totalize and Goodwood.

Surely maps like Sfakia, 32player Razegh, PdH and PHL will keep players in the server as well?

Also, Villers crashes always on me while loading, but I guess that's just my horrible pc..

Purple Heart Lane is very good map, for a matter of fact its better than PDH, in my opinion of course. Show Crete some love guys It brings me back to the good old BF1942 days. when everyone would bail out of the bomber before it blows up.

Unless you made a typo, I'd suggest to change something right there.

Yeah that part sucks, because of that i usually leave i mean lebisey, goodwood and lüttich have same gameplay, lüttich should be raplaced with El Almein or Cobra.

Ive been playing FH2 for almost 10 months now and I have NEVER played any other server than hslan, don't know why, maybe because you start knowing ppl and then come back. Anyway, everytime I play its pretty much the same people playing, with 64 players, I know maybe 50 since before.

You can put on "Alam Halfa" or "Aberdeen" (consider "bad maps"), the standard guys will still play. Maybe some newbies "COOLDUDE_1234_PWN_U" willl leave but his slot will be filled up in seconds. Get my point?

You should keep in mind, that our mapcycle is not static. Like Humbug already stated, we substitute maps (mostly Afrika szenario) on a regular basis. El Alamein, which is the most popular/wanted african map, has a serious stability problem for whatever reason. We had the map in the cycle when we got the new server, but it still crashed (client as well as server side), so we had to remove it, sadly.
Same goes for Cobra, which we took back into our rotation for the time being.

If you want to comment on the hslan mapcycle, just visit our forums and give feedback. We are always open for constructive criticism.

Wasn't El Alamein bugged on 2.2 too? It really is good tank map but it's ages since I last time played it .
