At the going rate of 40,000 dollars each, that is $200,000,000 worth of STG44.

It will probably be issued to the rebels and destroyed in combat.  :'(

Pvri still makes 7.92x33mm ammo officially for the Lebanese militia.

And Sport Systeme Dittrich makes perfect semi-automatic reproductions of MKb 42(H), MP 43/1, and StG 44 and these are chamberd in the origenal 7.92x33 kurz

-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

As soon as the Security Council's hammer hit, Egyptian trucks with weapons rolled into Tobruk, Libya.

In Syria, they are fighting near the old crusader stronghold in Aleppo with WW2 style weapons.

History has a wicked sense of humor.

Amazing find, I want one.

Would this discovery not lower the value of STGs now?

I mean, surely their price was based upon the fact that there was a very limited supply? With this new collection their availability should increase, no?

*of course as you said, assuming they actually make it out of Syria in one piece

It will.

And us prices for automatic weapons don't count :p
In Belgium they wont fetch over 5000 i think, maybe if there is an mp43 in there but otherwise i doubt it.

More like $20,000 on the high-end.  And that is for an NFA pre-86 one.  Since the USA sucks a large amount of donkey penis the only value one of those would have to most people is a 10 year stint in federal prison.

Still...I shed a tear with you Muddy.   :'(
