So... what's everyone going to dress up as for the premiere?

Is that crushed Darth Vader's helmet @ 0:49?

Looks like his son taking the same path.

Yes it is.

Tbh I see no reason for Luke to change sides... That's someone else.

Seen it.

It was a bad film. Wont go into details since that would contain so many spoilers. I'll look back into sharing my deeper thoughts once more and more people have seen it and enough time has passed, but the point is that it wasnt good at all.

Goddamn beautiful film tho. I went to see the 3D-version and while I dont have many 3D-films to which I can compare to, 3D in this worked really well. I liked it a lot. CGI, scenary, effects, sounds, everything else was very top notch as you'd expect. Really outstanding. Kinda like the recent Battlefront release; absolutely stunning graphics but really hollow and poor content.

Like I said, more at a later time.

4/5. It was a fun ride, after reading all the spoilers a bit of a disappointment, could have been more original, but the whole was much more than the sum of its parts and left the desire see more, much faster than the promised 1,5 years. What I certainly witnessed was that the music was MEDIOCRE (and not loud enough when melodrama was needed).

After sleeping it over, I still like it. It would be all too easy to shoot it full of holes, but I won't. Simply put, none of the prequels made me feel the feels like the Original Trilogy did but this one does. And in the end, it's all that matters. 4/5 for hardcore fans, but for casuals and normies I'd even say 5/5.

I thought it was quite good.

There are a lot of different things throughout the movie which I could see people not liking, but as a whole, I thought it was a good Star Wars film for a new generation.  Rey was definitely the stand out character in this film.  Kylo Ren is also an interesting character.

The only thing that I had an issue with (in a general sense) is that the dramatic beats in the movie never quite got to their climax...it felt like everything was just being skimmed over.  That isn't to say what the movie presented wasn't interesting, it just felt like we didn't get to stay with anything long enough for it to truly resonate.

Overall, this is definitely a better movie than the Prequels. I liked the general story of the Prequels, but the execution wasn't the greatest....The Force Awakens has interesting stories to tell, but it also fairs better in execution.

Not perfect, but really good and entertaining.  4/5
