i dont see how it can be a problem? most of those guns (if not all) where reloaded from the left side anyway, and in a normal tank (leopard A5) you dont have anything to do at all on the right side of the breach
The Jagdpanzer 38(t) was so small that the crew had almost no room to move inside. The loader was also positioned awkwardly so he had to reach over the breech to reload the gun.

And no, almost all cannon in WW2 were reloaded from the right side, including on tanks :P

hmm must have mixed up then ^^

anyway, removed the plate behind the breach would made reloading fairly easier, seen interior models of the tank now

lol :P  Yeah, it was simply a horribly designed tank.  Sure it was functional as a tiny, good TD, but the crews hated the things with a vengeance.

Bump!
Hehe, found this thread while googling.
Decided to do it as an L instead for ingame, so it may be used on earlier maps. Difference include the smoke launchers and rear exhaust.

I'm not sure if you are serious or not. At the moment, there are more British than German armoured cars.

This "new" German tank is few minute's work compared to a whole new model.

but british armoured cars are iconic to the british army, we are missing many important types of wich thousands and thousands where produced and used. it is like the panzers of the wehrmacht!

But yeah it should take aslong as a new model. Plus we will be honouring a Rad model. That counts for alot
But the Ausf L did had smoke launchers? right?

Never forget

Well you're quite the beggar :P Unfortunately not up to me, and I'd rather recommend modelers to do brand new content, instead of new content which would replace only current. But we do not a good amount of armoured cars: greyhound, daimler, dingo, dorchester, marmon, deacon. Not to mention the most iconic British armoured transport: the universal carrier.

But don't think just because one suggestion gets in another will. The Panzer III series I did entire re-exports on for upcoming Russia, which is the reason I did the later DAK ones as well, not because it was suggested or reminded of it.

Thanks for this Kev. So Ausf. L will be at least in Mareth Line, right?

Imho the Panzer III is the best master piece made by Rad. Actually, I remember that update as one of the best (or the best) of FH history. May he rest in peace.

Another important question for you Kev, will the 50mm KwKs keep their PzG? I've heard you say the majority of the higher calibers are going, but the 50mm was made in quantity (1 mil existing in Dec. 1943) because it kept the 50mm effective. Same with 20mm, but more for the fact you could make 9 rounds of 20mm for the amount 1 75mm would take.

I can cite some sources if you need, we have had this conversation in depth at WaW.

Panzer II and Puma could use their SAP back on that note.

Michael Wittmann's gunner, Bobby Woll, was known to be an excellent Marksman.
He could hit targets at range even on the move.
