Simply put, what happened? It's still in the game files and on the weapons list on the FH2 web page. But I have never seen it in game. Was it so imba, it got replaced by (sexier) Pattern 14?
-
The No4 Sniper? It's in Commonwealth Normandy maps.
-
It's in Operation Totalize or Goodwood iirc.
-
The british used the Pattern 14 sniper as a standard sniper rifle untill 1943, when No 4 production was sufficient for regular troops and it could be issued as a sniper rifle aswel. The P14 was used untill the end of the war tough. It was still preferred because the P14 was more accurate on long ranges.
-
I was using it on Battle of Keren map, until some moron kicked me from the server 762... ::)

Thanks for the answer. Perhaps I should just look more harder then for it.

We need more Pattern 14. Unscoped. ASAP.

lol, why for? not used by frontline troops in WWII
-
For the ammokit?
-
maybe on early maps but afaik they were only used in sniper rifle role as they were more accurate, the nonscoped version could be used only by british homeguard if we ever see battle of britain map.
-
I hope so...

unlike the amazing sexy M1917, the equally amazing P14 did not saw action in its origenal role. They made around 50 000 IIRC into sniper rifles, i will look it up in my american enfield book
-
It did see some action in WWI so maybe NML mod could use it?
-
M1917 is a gangster rifle on it's own, but I can't stand the sights on the P14/No4.

NML already has it, they did a mix of the P14 and the 1917. IIRC

.....the sights on the P14 and well, basicly the NO 4, are the same as the M1917
The only diffrence between the M1917 and P14 is the calibre, eddystone made P14's having the big belly stock, and the P14 being made with Volley sights
