Looks like that you change the most time only Markings and some Color Options, i´m right or wrong?
If yes it hurts the Quality of the Textures. Like Toddel said often before.
Btw. if you make big changes like on the Faces i hope you maked sure to change the normals and Specs aswell, cause if not you can run in trouble with them.

I am sorry to say that this project has been at least for now put on hold.  Classes have resumed and I have been far busier with them than I had anticipated.  That said, I will work to finish optimizing what I have now and finish up a few projects I started with the little free time I have.

It's true, the majority of the changes I have made are to alter or add insignia and manipulate some colors.   I have experimented with adding camouflage smocks and zeltbahn to German player-models but the results are less than satisfying.  Modifying the German soldier texture to appear to be a Fallschirmjaeger is about as ambitious as I plan to get with this project.

As far as quality loss goes, the loss of fidelity is rather insignificant and has no major detrimental effect on the overall quality.

If i´m honest it would be the best if you take a Model and try to do all texture by your own.
Thats the way how you can increase your skill and become maybe someday a 2D Artist.

So i would start to Texture a hole Tank or Plane from zero, i started with make my complete own texture of Bf 109, i only retextured the upper outer part but it increased my skill more than the stuff i did before (and thats was the same you´re doing atm).

Here the Topic of Summer 2009, thats was my start.

Excellent regiment on the 7th Armoured Division players  :P

The Divisional flashes are backwards though and need to face each other.

Im trying to make the same skins but just cant get the objects_client.zip to work properly.

Please, tell us Hanley didn't give up...

It would be so nice to see those textures in game.
