Hillary is dominating the polls, it will be a big shock if she loses it.  Trump shot himself in the foot over the last few weeks.

American election is like choosing between the dumb and the dumber.

It is beyond perplexing that such a country that has sent men to the moon and spacecraft out of the solar system could only muster these two clowns for their leadership position.

Perhaps they should repeal the birther law with "at least 30 years of residence" in USA as one of the presidential candidate requirements.

In which case, Arnold Schwarzenegger will make a surprise comeback to politics, win the election by a landslide, and for four years, noone will dare to mess with the US from fear of being terminated.

What's your problem with Clinton? She's a fairly conventional and very experienced liberal, if a bad campaigner.

First of all, she is the ultimate career politician. Like Obama said in 2008, she is the one who will say anything, but do nothing. When something happens, she will be the first to rack up the contribution claim. A more professional resume-builder than a problem solver.

A politician like her will face a gridlock and basically plays other issues to stir up the house. You know, the kind of leader who pretends to care about black people, but in reality, just use them to advance her own personal objective to make a best-selling autobiography. Be as bland as possible, be an all-rounder that doesn't show character, rather talk what the people wants. Take the money from the Bank, and pretend to care for the poor. It is fake as hell. The same with her husband, dubbed "the first black president", yet saw sharp rise in black incarceration during his tenure. Reaping the benefits of Reaganomics, the NWO promises, and quit just right before it all goes down (he lowered tax even further, and made enemies with the whole world). And his wife is the best female candidate coming from the free-est country in the world.

You'd better vote for that Green Party candidate, she is a woman too, if America is desperate for that title. I disagree with a lot of her views, but at least, she is not the same old political elites who is too tone deaf with issues. Hillary is too arrogant that she uses private e-mail servers and being reckless about communicating sensitive matters. Good thing she is being investigated.

However, that brings us back to the doom-bringer Donald Trump. The kind of guy who shoots himself on the foot and does a lot of play act in front of TV. Works for rednecks, but thankfully, more than half of US is still smart enough. If you are patriotic enough, vote for someone who doesn't have properties in the middle east, manufacturing contracts with Mexico or China, and been bankrupt twice, he will sell your industries and bankrupt them, because he has been there more than once. At least, the Libertarian guy grow his weed locally.

The fact that the only two viable presidential candidates are both horrible choices only shows how ignorant the modern society has become (and it's not just the US, it's almost the same story in any western culture). The presidential elections this year show that modern "democracy" is nothing but a mere reality show to keep the masses entertained. And also that the real holders of political power are to be found elsewhere (but we won't be hearing of them any time soon, as they prefer to act from the shadows), otherwise something like this could never happen.
This sentence is intentionally left unfinished...

Yes, it hurts third worlds like us as well. The last time Bill Clinton plays his liberal ideology, Indonesia has racial riots that saw thousands of ethnic Chinese raped and dozens murdered. Then we have Pakistan turning into religious nightmare. And so on. It is often poorly timed, like Claire Underwood of Netflix's "House of Cards" outburst when he confronted the Russian leader in front of press about how he handled homosexual protestors. Tell the bleeding heart over-privileged girl, it is either that kind of leader who shoots anti-government, anti-homosexuals, friendly religious nutjobs, or ISIS and nuclear terrorists.

Hey, Italy shows that you can vote for a comedian (Beppe Grillo's 5 star movement). Iceland has voted for Pirate Party to have the majority. We, a third world, ousted the political elites 2 years ago. Why can't the big democratic nations learn?

Absolutely. There are things that I personally don't like, but it is for the greater good, which I can see.

For example: throughout the years, our infrastructure projects never left the planning table due to stupid laws. It says, multi-year projects (as does most infrastructure projects), require re-budgeting and discussing on every yearly basis, and needed to be approved in the annual senate meeting. Our new president, not a usual political party-tied politician, negotiated a new clause for the law: we don't need to stop building every year to wait for senate's yearly budget, but pre-approved at the beginning, by our equivalent of the parliament assembly. It went through.

Then, we have the political deadlock about fiscal policy. Our president, not a typical politician, negotiated a soft loan for troubled businesses, turns out small price to pay compared to the deadlock. We then bring home about more than 400 trillion IDR in 3 months through tax amnesty policy.

Regional development is another issue with each province wanted to control their own budget and not coordinating development with their neighbours. Now we are forced to do so that in 5 years, finally we will have the long overdue trans-Java highway. The one that we have right now is still from Daendels' era during Napoleonic war.

The only thing that I don't like but can understand is his stance on death penalties and LGBT issues. But lately, even the head of police forces says this: LGBT has the same rights to be protected as every other citizens. Quite a bold move in the biggest Muslim country in the world.

OK, sounds good. Usually the "new" political powers quickly become the same as the old political elite. So I really hope you guys are the exception to the rule.
